We've got them at the PMAC this year. We really need to finally beat SC.

WBB recruiting update:

Looks like LSU is no longer pushing for Autumn Fleary after NIL asking price reached north of 500K (UCLA offering more) so they will be moving forward with other targets and LSU just extended an offer to top 100 pg Aliah Spaight after a monster AAU showing leading NIKE EYBL circuit in scoring and will be a top 50 recruit in next update. She was also recently offered by Texas and South Carolina.

Vukosa is visiting LSU in early October and Edwards visit to be set shortly likely October or late September

Also don’t expect Olivia Jones to be in this class. Last year guard class was heavy so don’t expect more than 1-2 this year, focus remains on bigs (Lampley, Vukosa, Edwards, Andrews, possibly Abii at the 4)

Chamiah Francis was a forward LSU previously perused but it appears they have backed off since ACL injury

Spaight is tough! But $500K feels like too much considering what we’ve got coming back. I’d rather allocate $500K to Vukosa—she’s a real hooper—and make a push for Edwards at the 4. Hopefully, we can also land Trinity Jones.

Considering UCLA’s lack of investment in football it surprises me every time to read they have a war chest for women’s basketball

It take a lot of donors for MBB and football. Wbb you really only need one donor and you could buy off a lot of players tbh but one of the football donors cut a big check for a few programs including wbb recently.

LSU stopped recruiting Chavez last year when numbers got too high, reallocated and signed Zakiyah, Knox, Divine and Bella so I’m good with it.

Right. It certainly feels like one big time donor goes a very long way in a women’s sport. Honestly I bet LSU softball would have a competitive NIL if Torina did a better job drumming up excitement.

Oliviyah Edwards (top 5 prospect) will be visiting with 6’5 top 5 prospect Vukosa and 6’2 top 20 forward Lampley on October 9

Big big weekend

Wow! I'll take any or all.

Vukosa would be ideal tho. She can step out like Breanna Stewart, which would work well with a Koval (or Caroline Bradley).

Still cannot believe that they are paying WBB players this much. Crazy

I completely agree, WBB gets paid way too much money for the entertainment value!

She would be but being from the northeast it’s going to be tough to pull her away from UConn

I guess I should stop expecting any decent non-conference games that we aren't required to play.

See Texas Tech softball. One donor couple bought their way into a national final.

The only pre conference challenge might be Duke in Cameron

Honestly the OOC schedule doesn’t bum me out, but I’d be irate if I were a season ticket holder. Plenty of P4 conference programs you can beat up on and get the bench experience. At least some names that will get the fans excited too.

There are many things I agree with Mulkey on but her non conference philosophy at this stage at LSU is baffling to me. I guess thats why she's an HOF basketball coach and Im not.
