Missing wide open shots is big too. Seems like we could have gotten anything we wanted against UCLA but couldn’t make a fricking shot. That doesn’t happen when we play the not as good teams.
UCLA game was a game all about guards making perimeter shots since they were so big inside and MK/Gilbert went a combined 4-20 on mostly open looks.
I think the freshmen class will get significant minutes next season. Guard/wing talent won't be a issue, need to add some beef to the interior.
Koval is in contact with LSU right now, that would be a good start

well this really puts things into prespective. she's clearly not transferring for money. she cant collect NIL. i heard that her parents wanted her to go to ND over LSU for academics. but after reading a little bit more about her, apparently her dad is still in ukraine fighting in the war, her mom and grandmother are in canada, and yeah, her older brother is here at lsu (another brother graduates high school in ohio this year). if anything, that's probably one of her biggest reasons for wanting to come to lsu! just to reconnect with family!
knowing that, i'd be stunned if she didnt play for us next year.

Was bored reading State’s message board. They were freaking the hell out over Okot leaving, we should press for her more
either would be solid but sounds like many weren’t that impressed with koval.
Tbh frick it and take both

this is exactly what im hoping for too! she may not be great, but at notre dame, koval def looked better than del rosario!
and for all the coaches who complain about NIL, recruit more of these international players!

She was a major disappointment. Good luck to her!

It’s honestly just unfortunate that ADR had to deal with those surgery setbacks. Injuries like that can take a toll — not just on your body, but on your mindset too. And that’s something people don’t always understand.
Around this time last year, I had the chance to watch her train — and I was thoroughly impressed. The footwork, the touch, the effort — it was all there. You could see the potential plain as day. She wasn’t just a big body in the paint — she had real skill.
I truly hope she finds her way back to that headspace, because once she locks in again — mentally and physically — it’s over. She’s going to be a problem for whoever’s standing across from her. She just needs the right time and space to get back to herself.
Some players just need a little more patience. She’s one of them — but trust, she’s going to be alright.

I really hope by the end of this week we make it official and get Serah Williams too…if not, I think there is potential of adding Breya Cunningham from Arizona.
after she hit the portal, Redus and her started to follow each other. she had a visit to USC last week, but she didn’t commit yet, so hopefully they get her on campus this week to sway her to BR, as she would be a big pickup
