We need to use that scholarship money we have this time around, for two post players. We already have MORE THAN enough guards, as good as she might be. Yea, she scored 30 pts against us, but on 11-26 shooting and had 23 of those points in the first half. Both Johnson and Williams are better shooters than her and they don't take 20-25 shots per game. If Flau'je opts to leave early, its a different conversation. But if she's coming back for her senior year, where would we put Latson.................................? At point guard? Like we tried with Van Lith? No thank you.

Chris Hilton would be her reason to stay.

Hopefully Serah Williams will come to LSU, she would be good addition. She could be the next double-double queen, even if just one year. She is experienced and can be mentor to newbie Grace Knox. Don't know about Serah's work ethic, but Nees has one of the best work ethic and very aggressive rebounder.

What's the reason to go pro early? Clark didn't even go pro early.

She has stated she LOVES college. If she has money then especially why go pro?

She once said she would stay in college as long as they let her. If they would give her extra years she would use them. However, her mom who I believe is her manager did say not so fast to this earlier this season.

I hope she comes back. Isn't she dating an LSU football player now? Hilton?

Sa’Myah is about to take a major leap next season with a full healthy offseason. Her +Serah would be a really nice starting front court

If LSU had landed Beers in the transfer portal, this is a different game

If she has money wouldn't that be the reason to come back?

Why would any woman who has money rush to be in the WNBA?

Clark didn't even go early.

Plus she loves college and is a rockstar here.

the portal is not only about taking players you need. i will NEVER be convinced that dawn staley didnt pick up dauda so that lsu couldnt get her!

dauda had a relationship with mulkey bc she recruited her for baylor. so i really think mulkey could have convinced her to come here. but dawn is probably a great negotiator/manipulator as well and promised this girl the sun and the moon and a championship and all the hype that comes with carolina basketball! and of course you throw in a few, "no one likes lsu, no one likes mulkey, why do you want to be affiliated with that program..." yadda yadda yadda.... then bam--potential lsu prospect gone!

dauda doesnt even realize she's been used until she's sitting on a bench all year for nothing! wasted talent! we really could have used her here! maybe if they win the championship she will leave, but she's delusional thinking that shes gonna get more playing time there.

shes the #1 player out of high school this year. apparently shes made ridiculous money demands and the top schools (lsu, sc, texas) refused to pay, but oklahoma kindly cut her a check.

the crazy thing--she's probably worth every penny! i really think she will be the next caitlin clark. she is a phenomenal player. first time i saw her was an overtime select game that paige and flaujae were coaching. that was 2 years ago, the summer after her soph year in high school. she was on the floor playing with class of 2023 and 2024 top prospects (jaloni cambridge, zam jones, izela arenas, etc) and was running circles around those girls! and knocking down shots from EVERYWHERE! angel (reese) was there too and i remember her saying "mulkey needs to get her!"

she's only gotten better. id give up the 4 players we have coming in for her. thats how good i think she is, and how much i think she is going to do for oklahoma. oklahoma was probably desperate. they really are not much of a contender in the sec (not they way they "should" be--coming in 5th, losing to sc by 40!). so i can see why they gave chavez exactly what she wanted.

No way. Clark was as good as a point guard the women’s game has ever seen and she left Iowa with zero national championship’s .

I’m sure she’s a phenomenal player but it takes more than one .

Let’s not do this to this young lady. She’s a great kid—confident, maybe a little cocky, but that’s pretty normal for top talent. I’ve watched her for years, and there’s no doubt she’s skilled. But let’s be real—she’s not anywhere close to Caitlin Clark, and honestly, this year’s class as a whole feels a bit underwhelming.

She’s had the benefit of playing alongside elite talent on the AAU circuit, and I think her reputation from the Unrivaled games helped boost her stock significantly. Back then, she looked more polished, but this past year at Unrivaled, she didn’t stand out the same way. Those younger 2027 guards put on a show, and she didn’t quite dominate like before. She seemed a bit slower and relied more on volume shooting rather than efficiency.

She’s not a true point guard—similar to CC in that way—but she can create her own shot. That said, I think she’ll have some growing pains adjusting to the speed and physicality of the SEC. Once she settles in, she’ll be solid, but she’s not on CC’s level. A more realistic comparison might be KK Rice in terms of how her #1 ranking could play out—talented, but not necessarily a generational type of prospect

yes it does for the #1 recruiting class in the country. didnt we also have the #1 recruiting class in the country in 2023? and how'd that work out? clearly the best ONE is still there. but those other 3 spots could have been used for portal players.

unfortunately that's the way it works now. in the words of coach yo at ole miss: "freshmen aint doing it!" you have to get the pieces. lsu won with pieces in 2023, sc won with pieces in 2024 (well only 1 piece--pao pao, but it still counts) ucla--could they win it all this year with their transfers (betts, barker, gardner)?? the unpredictability of it all has to be so stressful for the coaches and staff! god bless em!
