No, the transfer portal does not apply to HS recruits who haven't graduated HS or enrolled for college classes yet. Edwards is still in HS and signed a financial aid contract/scholarship. She has to decommit, ask Tenn to release her from school's financial aid agreement and back out of Candace Parker's Addidas NIL contract she signed 1-year ago. LSU is not allowed to contact her. *Note: Ncaa did away with NLI's 2 years ago, no more penalties or sitting out for 1-year.

She can score but doesn’t play defense at all and can be very lazy at times. I don’t think she is a match for our style of play.

If we were to take Crooks, we'd have to change our style of play. Not sure that would work. But who knows.............................Kim knows better than I do, so we'll see. I don't think Cooper is a good fit, because she and Mikaylah play the same position. She'd be coming off the bench and I can't imagine she would want that.

I don’t think either is a great fit but if given a choice I’d take Merkel. looks like she moves a little better.

cooper is very vesatile and can probably play the 1 or 2 just as well as mikaylah. bob said they're looking for bigs and a backup for the point.
with lazo coming, SOMEONE from tennessee is bound to end up here! their freshman jada civil is the only one left on that roster (as of right now). she'd be a good get too. when they played us in feb, she was on fire! 17pts, 8 reb. most efficient one on the team. i felt like maybe she was auditioning for a spot!

Would Cooper or Pauldo be willing to be a "backup" or share time with Jada and Milaysia?
Cooper would be a great get if she jives with the other LSU players and is willing to share time. She made the All-SEC defensive first team, has good size and athletic ability, and she hit 43 percent from 3 for the season along with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game.
Those stats look great if the other players would accept her and they'd all still want to share the ball. She'd just be around for one year, but she could make the backcourt even more lethal than it is already. Seems like she's ready-made as a Flaujae replacement. Cooper originally signed with SC out of high school.

Ever since we played them in January I’ve followed Woolfolk. She is a big who can put the ball on the floor and has some handles. While also being how do I say, not skinny. Something we completely lack and haven’t had since Reese and Morrow left. Would LOVE to get her

I have good feeling big news would be Caroline Bradley commitment. She is 99.9% LSU. SC-e is tiny 0.1%. Read couple places she was ready to announce. On3 recently predicted her commitment coming soon. Another possible big news could be a big-name Asst Coach added to staff to replace Mitchell who coached post players. Kim will need both asst coaches during the transfer portal. Timing is good for Monday.
