Why back out on Cotie mcmahon? Is it cause of her size and going after Serah Williams instead ?

Not sure for sure
For one her being only 6 foot is a bit problematic if LSU is wanting to up the size in the front court. Not sure how much $$ she is asking for either but I do know they want far more size in front court
Knox coming in is 6'2, so that gives us someone at the 4, but they need to add some players for the 5 and maybe one more backup big.

I would think with LSU's fan support our NIl has to be stronger than most across the country. it's not like their collective's are any more committed to giving a non revenue sport millions.
Would hope Flauje and Mikayala are more team players so we can use the money for other prospects but that appears to be wishful thinking

Knox is a bad arse but Lsu needs an experienced shooter but needs an experienced big even more. Serah Williams fits that bill.
Serah Williams is 6ft4 inch and has a motor like Aneesah Morrow. Avg 20pts a game and 9.5 rebounds a game. Ta'nyah Latson florida st guard is a 5ft9 guard that had the highest shooting percentage all yr at 24.5 points a game. Hoping for one of these or both

IMO, if you are gonna add a 6-0 post player, who only has an old-school Center's offensive game of under-the-basket layups & in-the-paint face-up drives for layups, you better be a monster rebounder like Morrow. Cotie isn't. She avg.'s 4.7 rebs. She barely avg.'s 1 off. reb. per game (1.1) for her career, which is better than her avg. this season of 0.8 OFR.
That's a deal-breaker for me.

This is a great pickup. Considering what Mulkey has done with other big girls similar to Koval, this should work out brilliantly!
