I think it’s a good move. Even though Rodney will probably never touch the field at LSU, and isn’t even ranked in the JUCO level. I think we have to land Ishamel even if there are some questions about his effort. I would like to see us push off a few guys in the class though like the JUCO TE, and maybe another guy in there. If this class shapes out to be what it can we won’t have enough room for some big names.

Taking Lanard was worth getting Leonard. Hopefully Sophser is a Tiger, and he meets his potential.

I hate doing this shite. It's almost never worth it. Plus theres a high chance of Sophser becoming another highly rated DT from LA that busts

As another poster said days/weeks ago, I hope Rodney’s offeris conditional on Ish signing in December, and him in Feb (if academics and test scores are in order).

Even if he busts, we can’t lose as big a prospect as he is from our own backyard. Also, Rodney will not come to LSU, if Ishmael isn’t here. He can dominate the game when he wants to, I just think the kid needs a bit of an attitude adjustment.

Lanard is not LSU quality and is currently a waste of a roster spot. The ROI was worth it though.
