Saw him in the Dome in December. Dude is a stud!! No way he’s only a 4*. He was dominating. Only player that took over a game as much was Mays from Central vs Ruston. He was only rated as a 3*, but he owned Ruston in that game. Anytime you’re the #1 in the country at any position you should be a 5*!!

With Kyle Williams coaching the DL, he is very knowledgeable about the positions on the line. Kyle spent 13 years with the same team. A 6 time Pro Bowler, his 48.5 Sacks are the most by a Bills DT. He’s been through a number of head coaches and position coaches. Has played in a 3-4 and a 4-3, played DT, DE and nose. There isn’t much he hasn’t seen.
I was invited to a breakfast by friends, the guest speaker was Kyle Williams, this was a couple years back. The place was packed, with young kids all the way up to the older guys. He captured the room. Just talked, didn’t have to read anything.
At LSU he spent two years under the tutelage of Pete Jenkins, so he knows the positions.
Kyle will do well, his love for LSU is shown in the way he talks.

Can't wait to see LSU with a dominant DL again, its been a while - think the last time we saw that was under coach Miles

Don’t the services try to project 32 5-stars a year, having it coincide with the # of first round picks there are? If that’s the case, Anderson might get a fifth star, and Brown will absolutely be a 5 star

quote:On3 currently has SEVEN 5-star recruits in On3's own 2026 class. The final count of five-star recruits in On3's own class typically settles at THIRTY-TWO by the end of the year or leading up to National Signing Day.

On3 has THIRTY-TWO 5-star recruits in its 2026 Industry class. The On3 Industry class will remain at THIRTY-TWO five-star recruits.

It’s a verbal yeah?
What binds them from going somewhere else? Nothing..
Not a dickhead. Just seen this play out negatively so much.

TIFWIW but Scona said his sources said the collective which can offer money before a player hits campus, offered him somewhere in the mid 6 figure range.

Last time they spent a ton of money, it got their Head Coach Fired. Really hard to believe, the last time they won a NC in Football, Hitler was invading Poland.

You have to think that Pete was the one that set him up for the job, right? That is my assumption. CBK called Pete, or maybe even Bo had something to do with it.

Now - let's get Blaine Bradford and Darius Gray.

With anticipation that we get the current commits across the finish line the 2026 LSU DL rotation would have:
DT:
Breaux - 6'3 285
McKinley - 6'6 306
Mitchell - 6'6 355
Mathis - 6'2 285
Zion - 6'4 355
Anderson - 6'3 340
Washington - 6'4 300
DE:
Reliford - 6'2 268
Cobbins - 6'2 233
Shanklin - 6'5 260
Jackson - 6'4 240
Carpenter 6'4 255
Henderson - 6'4 255
Lafayette - 6'1 230
Brown 6'5 300 (DE/DT hybrid)
What an embarrassment of riches on the DL. We can probably expect some to hit the portal, but it's been a long time since we've had this amount of talent and depth on the DL.
