LSU lands 4-star LB Charles Ross, Tigers make WAVES with huge football recruiting weekend

-Kid can really play and elite speed that Blake Baker loves.

-Charles Power who runs national scouting likes him with his track speed. You already have a 4* in Keylan Moses and now another 4* addition.

-Blake Baker is known and a great recruiter and great LB coach. LSU was Ross's first SEC offer. Expect him to pick up more offers during the spring.

-Both Billy & Shea had him in the first 1.0 mock signing class.

-As a junior for North Shore High School, Ross totaled 71 tackles to go along with six sacks, two pass breakups, two interceptions and also a pick-six. Earlier this month, the four-star linebacker clocked a personal-best 10.63 in the 100-meter dash.



-Biggest star of the weekend being Bryce and he is locked in with LSU. Dinner included Bryce with two of the top WR in the country in Caleb Cunningham & Jamie Ffrench.





-Bryce will visit again for the spring break. You could also see Cortez Mills and Kaliq Lockett could visit be in as well. This should be a banner WR class.





-Jaime Ffrench has set up an LSU official visit. Caleb Cunningham they don't believe will leave the state of Mississippi.



-James Simon had a great visit and is expected to come back for a spring practice. LSU wants that 1-2 punch as they're both different runners.



-Frank Wilson also got JT Lindsey back in who is now cracked into the On3 top 300 and ranked the #11 RB in the country.

-Shea says that Ffrench is the guy that thinks LSU will get a shot at and maybe he isn't all Ohio State as thought.

-Billy says he believes that Caleb Cunningham has been to LSU 4-5 times in the past two years




-The #1 WR in 2026 was also in town this weekend and praised Hankton's development.




-Shea not pressing the panic button on DK Moore with the announce,ent of his "top 4 teams". Of course you're going to watch Texas but LSU still has the #1 QB committed and #1 RB.

-LSU puts WR's in the pros. Texas has had one WR go in the first round in the last 18 years. LSU will have two in April.

-Shea wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't take half the visits he's said to take.

-In this day and age you have to know that even though a player committed only means that teams are going to recruit said player harder.

-Moore family loves the recuperating room that LSU has put in. He is a very NFL minded prospect. They will monitor it but feel confident in his signature.

-Dakorien Moore will be at LSU for the spring game on April 13 and Texas’ spring game on April 20.




-Micah did not make it in this weekend and is expected in later. It has been said that his family wants him to take visits and not just commit to another team after decommitting from Georgia. If he visited this weekend everyone thought he would pop. Shea says LSU100% the team to beat.



-Brad Davis will not stop recruiting the top players in the country. Look what he did last year. A name to keep an eye on is Tyler Miller.

-Miller doesn't talk a lot but LSU is sitting high on his list. Getting him on campus this past weekend was huge. Brad Davis never lets up.

-Sources around in his recruitment say the in state schools and LSU. Which is all you can ask for.



-Visited for a game last fall and visited this weekend. Tigers are now in the mix after offering. Moo State leads the RPM but you know Brad Davis gives a shite about that. Remember what he did to the Aggies last year.




-Corey Adams is the only defensive lineman with an offer right now and picks have been put in for him to LSU




-Another name to watch that Bo Davis has his eyes on. He's offered about 8-10 that he liked at Texas.

-Visited in January and now back again this past weekend. Back to back visits after the dead period makes you think that LSU has a real shot here.

-Billy says that if LSU reels him in that he is the epitome of watch what they do not what they say. Billy expects him to come in for the spring game. He came in after his regional track meet just to hang out on Saturday.

-Billy says per sources that LSU is the team to beat. Another BEAST Texas recruit



-Bo Davis had two surprise committed guys this past weekend as well

-Tigers are recruiting him as a Safety and will let him play baseball.

-He is Blake Baker's former HS coach is the HC of Ball so he is working those ties.

-Look for Blake Baker to work back into the Houston area just like they did the DFW area last year.




-Tigers swinging away and they need to add at least one more LB to this class.

-Shea believes that more names will pop up on the LB list but feels good where they are right now.



-Huge getting DJ back on campus and has set an official visit for June. Super comfortable with Corey Raymond.

-Shea says that you'd be hard pressed to not think that LSU leads right now even though he is going to take visits. You're talking about bringing back DBU and this is the #1 CB in the country.


-This class is highlighted by the offense and it will continue to get stronger.

-The hope is that this weekend visit set up the board to get the defensive players on track.
