New: 4-star #LSU commit Joshua Mickens added an #OhioState offer while in Columbus.

Now, he's added an official visit to his schedule ahead of signing in December.

Will be back for the Ohio St-Michigan game. Apparently he should be on flip watch.

Is he from a cold weather city?

Hes within relatively short driving distance of OSU, will be incredibly tough to hold onto him.

Imagine a southern Mississippi kid committed to OSU then visits here gets an offer and schedules an OV as well to come back.

He’s a good player and wouldn’t want to lose him. We do have a lot of EDGE players in this class and I think we’re leading on Akana

It sounds like he is about to flip.

Cain still going hard after a couple top edge rushers

He’s a two and a half hour car ride from Columbus. Don’t really see the commitment sticking to be honest. Already locked in an OV.

His dad passing probably doesn’t help. Most kids would probably want to be closer to family after something like that. Terrible to lose your dad at that age.

He hasn’t visited in a while either I think the writing on the wall is there . He just recently announced he was definitively signing during the early period as well

Definitely agree. I think it’s common to make changes, even if they’re random or don’t have a purpose, when you go through something like that too. I’m not impulsive at all but I’ve caught myself switching things up that I don’t even have a problem with to try to make myself feel better when tragedies happen. Hopefully we can hang on to him and make him feel at home but I’d definitely get it if he flipped to stay closer to family

I don't know.

Ohio state is after some top defensive ends.

I'd like to hear from the ohio state guy that is usually on here.

If we don’t offer a Louisiana player by his sophomore season their whole family turns in to fans of whatever SEC school offered them a week before us.

What if it was a kid from Jackson or Houston? Better comparison.

Would suck to lose him but as long as they keep the other 3 we'll be fine. You could argue LSU has 3 5* DL commits even though they're not ranked as so.
