How many of those guys you listed from the 2018 class are currently defensive linemen?

Of the eight signed, five or six. Not sure what position Dantrieze will end up playing.

Look at my list and take out Dare and Chasen. It's really not that difficult.

And JaCoby Stevens is a wide receiver/H-back.

It's almost like we are discussing different subjects here. Some moron said LSU signed five Dline last year and two moved to Oline, leaving just three Dlinemen from the class.

Defensive tackles and defensive ends are both defensive linemen.

I listed 24/7's 2018 signing class which included SEVEN players listed at defensive line positions. I also listed an 8th who was mentioned as possibly playing DE when he signed - a guy who still may be left at DE.

I don't get what the conversation is about, unless we are now trying to argue each player's position???

I dont really care what position they signed as

Currently, only three players from the 2018 class are defensive linemen. That’s not a “heavy” class.

I know you're pretty dense, but I'm pretty sure you know guys like Cherry, Scott, etc play LB in our scheme and aren't defensive ends. What they are listed as in recruiting is irrelevant.

People are talking about 280+ lineman, not rush LBs. There are three defensive lineman for a 3-4 scheme in that group

I am perplexed here.

I want to say what you posted is a lie and it is, but I think a lie comes with intent and I'm not sure but I don't think you are intentionally lying. Maybe you are just really horrible at math.

I thought when you asked me to list the remaining defensive linemen it was being done as a dodge. I had no idea you were being serious, sorry.

Here goes:

1) Jarell Cherry WDE
2) Travez Moore WDE
3) Davin Cotton DT
4) Nelson Jenkins DT
5) Dominic Livingston DT

and possibly
6) Dantrieze Scott ATH (who could play DE at 6'5" 245)

Moore and Cherry are NOT defensive lineman in LSU's 3-4 defense. They play OLB.

Yep, my bad. Cherry is listed as an OLB. Moore is a DE. All of the DE's are not 280+. Moore is 250 and Justin Thomas is 268.

So it is four linemen from the 2018 class.

Sometimes one of the ends will also play as a linebacker.

"They still had three linemen on the field, using defensive end Lewis Neal as a sometimes stand-up outside linebacker while removing the F-outside linebacker for a speedy nickelback"

It’s well documented Moore is also playing OLB.

Definitely. Everyone knows we signed 5 true DL last year and moved 2 to offense. And when everyone on this board is talking about our lack of linemen in this class, everyone is talking about guys who can lineup in our base 3-4.

Man, this board has gone to shite today. I've been checking often for news about our official visitors, but jeez, this place is brutal right now.

After Dean chooses Alabama, will there anyone be here to explain to me how LSU got “outworked?” Because that’s usually the blame when someone doesn’t choose LSU.
