Does anyone know when LSU will start landing transfer commitments? Do we expect anyone else to enter the portal from the guys left on the roster?

I don't think anyone knows. There have been a few comments on social media indicating that LSU will lose some more players to the portal.

I wonder who we might land this week?

If I had to guess maybe we lose Trae, Cam, or Mwani.

Maybe it makes me a bad fan but I'd really like to lose Miller.

He was awful this year. I don't have much hope it'll get better.

Miller would be better if he played his role of a catch and shoot 3 and D wing. Had too much workload on him with the terrible guards on the roster. If we can get Cook, he would help a lot to take pressure off him.

Alec, you might want to add Carlos Stewart from Santa Clara.

I don't know if he's officially in the portal yet, but he's rumored to be on his way here.

He's a sophomore. Averaged 15 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds per game. Shot 40 percent from 3.

Stewart played at Dunham. Scored 31 a game as a senior and was the Gatorade POY in Louisiana.

The rumor I heard tonight was that Wright, Stewart and Cook are all coming. If true, it means MacMahon is borrowing from Kelly's transfer playbook and reeling in as many Louisiana kids as he can. I don't think that'll fix our inside game though.

Added Carlos Stewart

Would be great to have some Louisiana natives on the team again

I dunno. But it's a rumor I'm getting from some Dunham people.

They also say Wright is coming.

We'll see if they're right. Those additions would make for a substantial improvement over what we had this year.

You can get away with being thin inside of you get athletic. Look at FAU, basically 4guards/small forwards and then the big 7’ Russian. Todays game is about spacing and ball movement. Shots at the rim or 3’s

For you baseball fans, this is the alma mater of JD Martinez, Miles Mikolas, and Mike Fiers. Three major leaguers who all played together at a D2 school.

This team was not the same once Mwani went out of the lineup
He at least played defense despite not being an offensive threat

Will be interesting to see what happens to Pruitt when they meet with NCAA
Wade can expect similar if not worse treatment

Wilkinson didn't play more than 14 minutes in a game after the Illinois St game...which was the 4th game of the season. Certainly it couldn't have hurt to have an experienced player available the rest of the way, Wilkinson's loss had MINIMAL impact on the course of the season. His minutes were steadily diminishing before the was shut down for the season.

The rumors on Wright were coming out before Vandy was even finished in the NIT. It's a smart move for him as a graduate transfer. Come home for one more year, work on his MBA, and make in-state business connections.

I'd love Stewart & Cook too. Since Cook already transferred once, would he have to sit out a year?

But was that because of the injury. McMahon said he tried to play through it. So we’re the minutes reduced do to injury and him not being a full participant at practice etc. or were they reduced due to performance.

Probably both … injury prevented him from performing to the expected level so they shut him down.

Looks like Wright and Cook are likely. Certainly an upgrade to the backcourt with Wright. Hopefully Cook’s success translates to the SEC. Wade seemed to have made his mind up on Gains when Cook was here before without allowing it to play out, thought he had earned more playing time.

I actually think his shooting numbers will bounce up next season
