I think its similar to cowan or evans when they're on they both throw that pitch that drops and breaks as its dropping. cowans is a changeup Im thinking evans is considered a changeup too ,isn't it?

What Evans throws I think is actually a splitter, though throughout the season a lot of broadcasters would say "changeup". The action on it suggested it was a splitter, and as far as I know it is in fact a split finger grip.

People don't draft DHs very high, it is why Tommy White came to LSU to play 3rd Base. Frey will be back to play a position, either outfield or 1st base.

He may get drafted higher than Bear.
Utter nonsense. That will not happen.

In my defense, I did retract the first statement in a later post.
I own the second, which I did not see coming. Did you?

Does that say more about Frey's potential or Bear's struggles to end the regular season?

30 different orgs aren't boiling down their decision to just either of those two guys. It only speaks to Frey's potential.

I am changing the subject, but are we getting blasted by this draft, or about what we expected? Also, what ramifications could it have on Larson possibly returning, should Jay let him back?
And one other question , how are we looking on the numbers cap right now should things stay just as they are?
I can’t keep up

High schoolers went about as you’d expect. Fauske, Young, Ebel, and Moss werent ever much of a shot (not sure what caused the moss 50/50, maybe comps to Curiel and wishful thinking?).
Sime, McKenzie, Hamilton, and Paz were the more 50/50 kind. We lost 3 of those. Every expected to lose between 5 (at best) and 8 (at worst) of the recruits. We’re looking at losing 7.
But for the college players, seems like everyone but Shores (and Kade Woods wtf?) slid below where they were projected. And Noot, Cowan, and Stanfield didn’t get drafted. So we have the potential to come out a little ahead on the returners with Noot and Cowan coming back and possibly Stanfield (depends on if he wants to stay or try to get a UDFA contract). And none of our incoming transfers got drafted (wasn’t a super high chance but anything can happen in the MLB draft).
So the freshman class is about how we expected, and we are in a more fortunate situation with the returning players than we expected. Unfortunately tho, out OF situation doesn’t have any more clarity at this time which makes it less likely that Larson is coming back.
I think we’re still 2-3 guys over the 34 man roster, so there may be more attrition in fall camp.

Great take. I think Hamilton signs with Detroit so we lose 8. Still got some talented freshman coming to campus. I wonder if we are done in the portal?

Yea you’re right it’s 8, I forgot about Hodge. I had a feeling I was missing someone.
