Weird nugget that means nothing, but this kid’s grandfather is also from Winnfield and lives on the same road I grew up on. Told my family if they see him to ask them what way he is leaning.

Sorry I meant weird in that Marionneaux and Hawsey both have grandfathers from Winnfield, La. Would love to see both of them at LSU.

Well, we’ll likely know something there in so far as where CJJ stands with them. I know he’s not a big fan of DVH
Timing on Trosclair’s injury not great. His next year would see little to no action. Not certain on how that is handled now with the reduced roster spots

They were in on some LA arms early (no commitments that I’m aware of) and got Collins the catcher from OC in the ‘27 class. They are active in the area

I know Jay didn’t like the way Root and whatever other fruitcake lefty they got in the portal that year handled their recruitment. And the way they handled it probably had a lot to do with DVH.
You know he liked beating them a little more because of that.
