We had started to hear closer to the draft that Hodge and Hamilton were very signable.

So far we've heard that about Nawrocki. But I'm hoping we can find out more info like that so we (as fans) are a little less surprised.

Yeah different people have had different opinions on nawrocki. Armstrong (just a fan) have said a month or so ago he wanted to sign and play RF and we saw why this week at the combine but someone like Kiley has said he think he comes to school so we definitely need to see who else thinks otherwise. I’ve heard Weinstein will sign as well that’s the only 2 I’ve heard anything on.

Alex Blair 6'6" OF from Oklahoma entering the portal.

He was a complete douche during our series with Oklahoma. He stood out for it because he was literally the only one acting the way he was.

Their run essentially started when they benched him, and there are rumors he wasn't welcome back anyway because he's a locker room issue.

He also struck out over 40% of the time in the SEC.

I hope we stay away.

I hope we can pull OF Laya, then maybe the RHP Allen from Tech.

Jay preaches about bringing in the right locker-room pieces so I cannot see a situation where Jay goes after him because of that.

Not sure who these guys are, but I don't love this based on what has been said in this thread.

Looks like there's a ton of chatter on twitter going back a few days, before he entered the portal, about him "going to LSU".

The only good news about this is that this won’t scare away a guy like William Patrick

This is a guy who is a depth guy who will compete with Patrick

Blake Ruffino said he thinks this guy could hit 15-20 homers eventually

I was hoping for Laya. I saw film on him and was impressed. Also, I believe Laya has 2 years left for college.

I heard Blair is a cancer in the locker room (rumor). I'm sure Jay has done his research on the kid if he winds up here.

I know nothing about either of their futures, but it doesn't make much sense for Clapinski to join the roster (this year) if he wants to play. Bide and Serna will rotate at C, no matter how much people protest. Yamin stuck around to be the #3.

In a perfect world Clapinski comes over as a Milazzo type defense first catcher, but I don't think that sits well with the two guys who are trying to play catcher at the next level, will get drafted high, and are already splitting reps.

Definitely think clapinski should wait a season

But would love to see louque play a role next season

I was told a few weeks ago that they were expecting Louque to be here in the fall.

hope he will get an opportunity to hit a homer for LSU in 2027

Daniel Harden was a juco guy and he only had 2 hits but one was a homer so i was super happy about that

Clapinski might be a valuable add in 2027 if only to catch Schmidt’s starts.

Also think the bat has more pinch hit potential than Yamin.

If Clapinski was only a freshman this past year then he’ll most likely be at E next season. Willis damn near traps most of those players for 2 years. Kinda shitty but I guess that’s what keeps them with a great roster every year

William Patrick isn't listed on the Healdsburg roster anymore. I wonder if he got hurt and went back home or something.
