Last year it was the 3rd Monday in August (21st). In 2022 it was August 22 which was the 4th Monday in August.

I'd guess the 19th but haven't seen an announcement.

Those previous two dates you mentioned were the start of the fall semester. First day of classes. That would put it being August 26th this year.

No worries....few short weeks for football to start and then fall baseball will be here to keep up with before we know it. Almost time for Scuba to shine for the Tiger baseball faithful.

Figure I’d post this here. It would probably get lost on the main board

I like them all. I know the double bag is softball-ish. But, I'm very much a baseball purist and would still like to see this in every baseball game and not just the postseason.

Not sure if mentioned, but apparently Grant Fontenot may be in our transfer class.
64analytics just posted a graphic containing every player who transferred in and he was listed.

Sounds like the player rejoining the roster is Grant Fontenot.

64 analytics included him in our class as a transfer and his profile pic on Twitter is back to being LSU

Hmm. Simon’s HS coach said he was trying to work his way back as well to be a pitcher. Wonder if we take both. Simon was up to 95 in a recent bullpen

95 with movement. Hopefully he doesn’t have any setbacks with his arm.

Left LSU, went to McLennan , then Texas last year.
He left Texas in April during the season . According to the coach , something to do with being bought in. That program seemed to be a mess last year .

Missed that. Connor Simon? Would be wild to retire from arm issues as a fielder then come back as a pitcher
