Based on nothing specific, I expect Josh P and Bras to be the primary leaders this year. This will be JP's 4th year in the program and he's bounced in and out of the lineup, played multiple positions, had to wait his turn, etc. and Brazzy dealt with being replaced at South Carolina as well as early struggles both on offense and defense this past season but was one of our best players over the final month. They've both had ups and downs and persevered.

And Jay just dropped a Tiger, I assume for this news.

Looks like he was previously committed to A&M.

Bras really looked like he was having fun the second half of the year too.

2025 class is super stacked, i expect we'll add another lefty pitcher in there too, only 1 right now
12 players in Top 105 according to PG and 10 of them are Top 50

That's what I'm assuming for right now.

1. don’t take this personally. i just meant I think we’ll keep taking freshmen
2. No one with an LSU offer isn’t an elite player, but Herring wasn’t Shores or Kling or Neal, Dugas wasn’t Landon Marceaux or Brice Turang and Eades wasn’t Kevin Gauseman.

I never said we wouldn't.

I think you're just fundamentally misrepresenting the draft buzz around those players in their HS draft year.

Josh just doesn't have leadership qualities. I think he's a great teammate, stays out of trouble, etc. But, he's just not a leader. I'm not saying you have to be loud and obnoxious to be a leader, but you know one when you see one. Braswell is certainly a leader.

Eh, honestly we don't see enough of any of these guys to say whether they do or do not have leadership qualities except for obvious cases (like if a player is blaming the rest of the team for something). I could be completely wrong on Pearson as well because I'm mostly basing it on his experiences within the program. I don't really know how he is in the clubhouse or the dugout.

lol I def remember everyone sweating it out on if Shores would make it to campus or not..Herring too but with him being a eligible sophomore most felt he would make it

Hasn’t Ruckert been playing some OF at the showcases? No doubt he can hit to play out there.
