I almost included this in my post but Arkansas or Miss St. make the most sense if he does go elsewhere.

Nah a lot of them are not going to UT.

Give me the CF, Jace and Kent.

Hopefully Milam can make a recruiting pitch to Grahovac and LaViolette with Team USA this week.

He’s probably getting Tommy John.

I don’t see how any of those guys follow him to UT.

Kendall reported he was essentially “in” before regionals.

No thanks.

The viewing experience for most games is already bad enough. We don't need to add random cutaways to Barry Bonds' syringe buddy every 30 seconds.

Haven't updated where our 2024 commits stand in perfect game rankings since end of February, figure since it's right before the draft now I'll give one last update. The rankings below are how they've trended from end of February to today...

Commitments:
#2 -> #2 OF Konnor Griffin - MS
#5 -> #4 LHP Cam Caminiti - AZ
#19 -> #6 RHP William Schmidt - LA
#6 -> #10 OF Derek Curiel - CA
#10 -> #12 C Cade Arrambide - TX
#64 -> #58 LHP Boston Bateman - CA
#68 -> #67 3B Kale Fountain - NE
#57 -> #70 SS Casan Evans - TX
#63 -> #76 SS David Hogg II - TX
#81 -> #93 1B Ryan Costello - NJ
#91 -> #108 SS Michael Ryan - LA
#122 -> #111 RHP Mavrick Rizy - MA
#104 -> #116 RHP Landon Victorian - LA
#219 -> #233 RHP Stunner Gonzales - CA
#268 -> #286 OF John Pearson - LA

Decommits since end of Feb:
#107 -> #117 3B Daniel Arambula - CA [Committed to San Diego St]
#282 -> #359 LHP Brady Kehlenbrink - MO [Committed to Missouri]
#420 -> #443 RHP Grant Breaux - LA [Committed to ULL]

No real big changes in rankings really except for Kehlenbrink who decommitted and is going to Mizzou now. Interesting to note Michal Ryan dropped from 91 to 108 but with the interview with the futurestars scout someone posted here yesterday said Michael Ryan is a definite MLB sign and MLB teams are buzzing around him. I guess he just wants to go pro perhaps.

He buzzed a bit last summer for a short period, and BA wrote about it & I think some people are still latching to that.

He had just an ok prep season. Is probably a college SS but he is not a pro SS. He needs college. I think he will get to campus fairly easily

Thanks, somehow completely missed that one, PG still has him committed to us

Where are things sitting with Arrambide? Seems like all our options at catcher are either big draft risks or transfers that haven’t played catcher in years.

The futurestar scout interview someone posted yesterday here felt like he was probably coming to school. He had him as like a ~4th round grade IIRC, and said with how wide open the catcher spot is at LSU with Neal leaving along with Milazzo and Travinski its probably a big selling point for him to be able to catch 1-2 games a week as a true freshman. Said he has the biggest arm of anyone in the class which will probably keep him behind the plate. Just needed to work on framing/defense a bit but not a big issue.

Getting both Curiel and Arrambide to campus would feel like a massive win. Appreciate the info brother

Bonds and Kent couldn’t and still can’t stand each other. Those two and the word “buddy” don’t really go together in any capacity.

Is that because Bonds was good even when he wasn't on steroids, and Kent wasn't?

Kent is a five-time all star... If his son can play like he did in the CWS, you find a spot for him.

Fill me in on Kent and the juice.

This somehow never hit my radar, and I'm well aware of Bagwell and Biggio

Also FTR, I've never faulted Bonds with his talent for not sitting back and watching McGwire and Sosa own the game
