Can honestly say I've never heard of the college he plays for or any of the colleges he played against. Need to get my D3 baseball knowledge up.
107K/18BB in 69.1 IP isn't bad though. Maybe an older mature arm you can count on to come in and throw strikes.

100%. Duke isn't where they are today in college baseball without good recruiting of some guys that were overlooked by colleges like USCe, UNC, NC State, Virginia, etc. They have constantly been improving in baseball over the last 5 years and Josh Jordan had a big part in that. Should just make him that much better with the resources he has now.

It’s a second recruiting season, baw. I expect lsu to feast every off season. It’s why I don’t really put pressure on this year’s team. Personally I think we are always going to be in the race with jay’s recruiting and marucci helping with the portal

The portal is open but I doubt you see any visits/commitments until season is over.

Hopefully, LSU can convince some of these kids to hold off on committing. LSU, god willing, will be playing for another four weeks.
I think Jay is going to hammer the portal for pitching and leave no doubts on the mound heading into next season.

I don't think it'll be a problem if we keep playing longer than the portal targets' other interests. You have to assume we have a plan in place for that scenario - if not, shame on us.
