There’s no chance Mikie tweets 95% of what is tweeted by that account. I figure it’s Lloyd.

During the Friday night delay of the Tulane game, before what was supposed to be the LSU Oregon State game, I was at Walk ons watching Tennessee Clemson on some big projector walk ons had in their parking lot. I was standing right next to Lloyd, Mahtook and Mitchell when Zane Denton hit the go ahead home run in the bottom half of the 8th.

None of them were on their phones but there were multiple tweets from the Mik'd up account about it, including a clip of the home run

It’s pretty crazy how little of effort you can put in to things when you got money

Grant Fontenot committed to Texas. He spent last season at McLennan CC in Waco, TX.

I was wondering about that too.

It could be in reference to today being the first day they can contact 2025s under the new contact rules.

Interesting he was a take there knowing his past trouble he had here and he didn't really have a good JUCO year at all

10 starts, 30.2 IP, 37 K, 27 BB, 23 H, 6.16 ERA, 1.63 WHIP

Had 10 starts but only averaged about 3 innings per start because no control seems like

Oof, that's rough.

The staff here loved him as a baseball player. I think he had some behavior or academic issues, plus some arm discomfort. I wish him well. Big, strong kid.

He seemed to still share a positive feeling of his time here. His twitter likes were all LSU stuff and pretty recent. Even stuff about Jay being coach of the year.

Not the type of stuff you see a lot from guys leaving a program.

I hope Rooney is referring to another portal player.

Glen West put out an article on 247 today saying that LSU's incoming class includes 15 freshmen.

We have 13 freshmen and 1 JUCO listed, if you add Reaves that would make 15, but still not all of them are freshmen. I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt. But it brings into more question as whether Reaves is in this class or not.

Since I know Glen reads this thread, maybe he will address these questions.

They have an intern who just graduated LSU, I think his name is Jack, who probably helps run the twitter account.

You’ll see him on the show from time to time, but he seems very chill and mature. Basically the opposite of Lloyd I concluded that it was Lloyd tweeting that shenanigans last week when the Holman news broke.

Anybody worth paying attention to tonight in the Northwoods League all star game? I mean, I'll probably watch regardless.

There is a freshman pitcher from Arizona State that's not pitching in the Nortwoods League and didn't get any innings this spring. But he's hitting .325 with like 11 HRs.

Brandon Compton

This is just the all star game for half the league. The other half had their last week.

Last week there was a pitcher from Belhaven pitching. Brett Sanchez, originally from Slidell. Leading the league in Ks. Funky delivery and not a lot of velo, but he was a guy I was wondering about for a grad transfer spot at one point this summer. There was never any indication he was leaving Belhaven though.

Figured they could be wrong about montgomery

I generally like Mahtook and Mitchell, but that Twitter account (and whoever is running it) is awful. All they do is argue with random people that say anything that doesn't end with LSU being the best at everything ever. They are too sensitive to other opinions.

The IOTB(GREAT SHOW) guys are saying that returning to Stanford is most likely the case. They have said this for the last few weeks and they do not report rumors.

Touche. To be fair, some of the stuff those guys were saying was just factually incorrect. Your point still stands though.
