With this transfer haul I'm completely fine with what Johnson has done. I knew this team would turnaround quickly but not this fast granted winning in year 2 will do that.

Denton is one of the most punchable players in the country. Maybe that’s where it went.

I do find it funny that there are Tennessee fans that think Vitello told White he'd have to compete with Zane Denton even though Denton didn't enter the portal until two weeks after White committed to LSU and didn't commit to Tennessee until another two weeks after that.
I actually follow and pull for Tennessee when they aren't playing LSU (house divided). But their fans are generally shite.

They aren't saying he tampered, they just don't understand how time works.
And as I've said before and will say again, Vitello didn't tamper with Ahuna. Ahuna initiated contact. Vitello sat games to clear up the situation of Ahuna visiting before Tennessee got his transcripts. Tim Corbin is just a bitch and turned Tennessee in because he didn't get Ahuna, and the NCAA is a mess.
The program that actually tampered with Ahuna was Arkansas.

Montgomery was in Hartford, CT when he was purported to have visited us. But Jay took some pictures with Micah Bucknam and Paxton Kling the day before that and they are CCL teammates with Montgomery.
So it's possible there was a in-person visit between coach and player, but it didn't happen the day people said and it didn't happen in Baton Rouge.

Someone who claims to work with Montgomery's mom said that she said he was visiting LSU. Only problem with that is Montgomery played a summerball game in the cape that day.
That said, Jay was out in the cape and had pictures with Bucknam, Kling, Pearson and Jones. Montgomery could have been visiting with LSU as in he might have met with Jay while out there. Not necessarily on campus. That is what likely happened.

Looks like former Tiger Brennan Holt has transferred from Oklahoma State to South Alabama. He's playing CF in the Cape League right now.

He's trying to be Crews with the walks. Great plate discipline I didn't see any of the at bats but it sounds like he has a good plate approach.

He seems to be working hard on his approach. His OBP is around .530. Has an OPS over 1.0 and has over 20BB to about 15 or so Ks if I remember right. Over 60-70 plate appearance by now probably. Hope he can keep building off of this and I can see him forcing himself into playing time. He body size and athleticism would be hard to keep out the lineup even with an OF that has Pearson, Kling, and Bingham.
