It won’t be for lack of effort. I’ll tell you that much. Will likely be because he wants to have a big 2 way impact and he might not see the for sure opportunity for that here.

DRock - what do you know about Michael O’Brien from Curtis? He decommitted from Tulane recently and it looks like we’re on him now.

I've seen alot of him. He's a solid player. Nothing really stands out, but he does everything well. Very gritty, twitchy, but fundamentally sound.
I wonder if we're looking at him as a 2-way.
ETA: He would strike me more as a depth guy. See what he could give you in the OF, running bases, maybe pitch some. But, otherwise, I don't see him as a huge contributor unless he really blossoms at something. Our roster is littered with far bigger fish.
