Hurd was very consistent, he just got hurt. We still have very talented arms already on the roster and probably a freshman or two who can start. There will be plenty of options.

It sounds like Waldrep is pussy whipped to me! He could've got coached up by the best pitching coach in the country in Wes Johnson for a year. Instead, he'll go play for that douche of a coach Sully. I hate that fricking guy with his tan and gold chains.

CJJ can go get other portal pitchers and he will I believe but let's see how the MLB draft plays out for the good guys.
This past year Tennessee had 2 or 3 freshman pitchers start for them. I said it before but I think Griffin Herring is a beast, I really hope we get him and luck out with others.

What are we basing that waldrep is going to UF on? One poster? Did something come out besides that one guy posting what he is hearing?

I literally heard yesterday that we outbid florida
|doesnt mean he's for sure gonna pick us tho|
it would seem that we've at least made it a very hard decision and i don't think he's anywhere near a lock to go to UF

Hurds injury is another beast entirely. He definitely has the stuff to compete at a high level.

Tebrake seems like he's going to draft

So that leaves us with Hurd and Little (as of today for starters) with freshman and sophomores non of which were dominate.

I just hope we get a dominate Friday guy.

Agreed but listening to his interviews it sounds like he would sign for a diet coke and some onion rings.

Ty Floyd and Grant Taylor are viable options to start next year and have the ability to be very very good. Getting Skenes or Waldrep would be icing on the cake but we don’t need them to be a very good baseball team. Thatcher Hurd is your dominate Friday guy.

I think Brice Collins could start too. Not saying Wes Johnson is a magician, but he could come in a develop a pitcher that we’ve written off.

I definitely think Neal wants to be here. Interested to see if there is any team that really likes him in the draft.

Move in day, historically, has just been a formality

Yeah I get it, just making an observation. The earlier they move in though can’t hurt. Get them seeing what they will have for the next 2-3 years if they really want it

I’m sure some guys don’t even bother moving in, so it’s technically news. Jay himself recently said that move in day could be telling. Whoever is telling the staff they are waiting to move probably aren’t going to come. That news won’t get to us, but seeing some guys move in tell you they at least are some what serious.

I just hope one day you'll learn the difference between the words dominate and dominant.
