That’s kinda true. He has to choose to be a 2nd-3rd round pick or go to LSU for a season and become a 1st. So It’s really just up to him.

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard he and Lloyd talk over a person as they were asking a question to an interviewee or over the interviewee’s response.
My skin was crawling as they were doing this during the Hurd interview. Then, they were trying to silent communicate and texting while Hurd was talking, despite being on camera. I kept thinking how I really hoped Thatcher couldn’t see what we were seeing. I love Mahtook, but it was some of the most rude shite I’ve seen during an interview.

Mahtook would be better off ditching Lloyd and getting a better side kick. Mitchell does a good job. Mahtook has potential and he has good relationships with LSU and LSU baseball coaches and former players.

Lloyd is the worst person on radio. I’ve got no clue how he has a job in the industry.

Lloyd is terrible
But if you don’t have Lloyd you wouldn’t be able to HEAR the disdain in Jay Johnson’s voice every time Lloyd says literally anything.
It’s a thing of beauty.

Jordy was fricking broke and needed someone on the cheap

The stuff I find most interesting is when Mikie and Jared recount minor league stories. That shite is legitimately great.

Their college stories are great too. Jared telling the story of Chad Jones coming into pitch and no one realizing his batting walkup song was wayyy too vulgar to go as long as a reliever walk up song is gold.

This isn’t as bad as Lloyd doing everything he can to make sure that every transfer they interview understands how hot it is in June in BR. Mikey or Jared had to explain to Lloyd that they won’t be pitching home games in the middle of the summer. You swear the dude doesn’t work in a air conditioned room for a living.

Jared Jones moving on campus today too.

I’ve said it since day 1 Lloyd started on Jordy’s show, who is this guy and why does he feel the need to talk so damn much. No clue why they let him talk at all much less as much as they do.

Ive probably posted this before, but I honestly think Mitchell has a future in media if that’s what he wants to do. He’s smart, he can be funny, and has good opinions and explains them well. Plus he has knowledge from playing big time college football and baseball.
I think Mahtook has improved a lot since the show began. He’s has great insight in the game which makes up for all the rough edges that come with the show.

How much does this actually matter tho? Can’t he still sign pro if he’s drafted

It’s at least an indication of which way they’re leaning

Waldrep is Florida bound he won’t return our calls anymore

Proximity to home is bigger than NIL here. His parents can much more easily travel to Gainesville. That’s the word in the industry as to why he’s going there.

Not surprised I didn’t think we would get him. We need another 1-2 elite arms to finish up plus a good draft class. No buzz with the kid out of Stanford? I was hoping Jay with his west coast ties would help. I don’t feel all that confident with the Air Force guy but I don’t have any inside info.

If we keep Dylan or get skenes and Reggie I’m fine with losing waldrep.

Really need to get some veteran talented arms.
Hurd and little have high ceilings but haven't performed consistent yet.
I feel like pitching, starting, will be wether we make omaha next season or not.
