Well if nothing else, jobert showed it’s possible to hit 190 and 18 homers

Why not? If either is in the lineup next year against us, thats 2-3 strikeouts probably

I got a little bit of an idea that jobert will have a tough time hitting what we’re gonna be rolling out to the mound next year, and bianco, he probably won’t be in the lineup to find out

Lets not shite on the guys bc theyre taking a pretty good opportunity thats presented to them.

We're trying to get better...so as you say yall dont want them... so no need to crap all over them for taking a good offer, even if its to Ole Miss.

So, I don't know if the effective last day to put your name in is today or tomorrow, but just remember that names will continue to pop up for a couple days after due to the delay built into the process.

Does anyone know if we're pursuing Alex Williams from Stanford?

There are rumors on another board that we are.

My normal way of checking things out isn't showing anything, so if we are, they've wised up to my process.

Lesnar wanted Hurd and it worked.

Keep it up, Les.

Williams is draft eligible. Something to keep in mind.

I don’t want to lose Jobert but it is what it is. Not going to lose sleep over it.

I’m not trying to shite on them in anyway. I was in a thread taking up for bianco yesterday . I like him, I just don’t think that he nor jobert will be better than whoever plays the positions they would play

Jobert looks like he should be a better athlete but he was lost in the OF.

If he was solid defensively and could cut down the K’s 10%, I’d probably have him as a starter in LF. But aside from the power, he’s really flawed. Oh well.

Yeah it just doesn’t make sense to be so incredibly streaky, to the point that it’s something I’ve never seen before

Did I miss something about Jobert? Dude would’ve been starting here next year.

Not likely. It might mean Dugas returns and that gives you 3 OFs plus Kling and Stevenson so Jobert wouldn’t play there and you already have too many DH guys. He likely wants to be an every day outfielder if I had to guess

Jobert is your prototypical streaky hitter. When he was on, the team was essentially unstoppable getting multi RBI ABs out of your 7/8 hole hitter. But when he was off, it’d be for an entire month at a position that has to produce offensively.

RF/DH is just about the easiest vacancy to fill. Even easier when it’s a .249 hitter.

Not sure who we’re going to find to fill the .150 pinch hit strikeout vacancy though.
