Correct, he won't be eligible until the 2024 draft unless he plays JUCO in 2023.

While I can't find an exact birthdate (at least in 45 seconds), his age relative to the 2021 draft indicates that he would not be a DES.

Rocking the portal would definitely lessen the blow if the draft fricks us, but at the same time, a few of those incoming kids might see what's happening and decide they want to be a part of it.

That's fine. They all won't do that but I'll take a loaded portal class over a loaded freshman class but that's just me. We're ready to win now with the guys on this roster. If they aren't willing to develop one year before it's their turn then they should go to juco ball and play professionally.

There's just no way he meant to say 5-6 first rounders from the portal. Maybe 5-6 first rounders including Crews/Morgan with portal additions, I could buy honestly.

The next couple weeks could get very very interesting before the draft even hits. Looks like Jay has a plan and it's not waiting around on the #1 class even
No idea what the roster will look like next season but it certainly sounds like it's going to be a complete and total overhaul.

White, Hurd, Young, and Little all have the potential to be a first rounder. Not sure if that is what he meant. If Pineda would be 1st round caliber, he would be going in the draft this season and not coming to LSU. Which I guess for him is still possible but I don't think he will get picked high enough to sign.
