I never start these threads but we are getting closer to crunch time and I’m thinking about it a lot.

Sopsher
Sopsher
Cain
Lee
Another OL
And at least 1 or 2 spots open with misses etc....

Really hoping someone closer to the program could weigh in here,

The ones you said and still going hard after Emery. So...your list Emery/Cain and may keep one open for a transfer.

Cain or Emery, potentially Spievy (as a 3rd RB)
Sopsher's
Lee
Hopefully another OL (supposedly Dobbs current MSU commit is interested)
With that said, lots of people think Miller won't stick so that'll open up at least one more spot for someone else or a transfer spot

I know Voltiger has also noted there may be some shuffling at the bottom of the committed list if other top prospects become available.

Could go a few different ways. IF the current class stays without any attrition, I think we add both Sopshers, Cain/Emery, Lee, and use the final spot for best available, or possible that it is held for a transfer with the new rules. I'm still under the impression that we have a little movement in the current class before it's all said and done, so we will see how things play out between now and December.

Any ideas as to who would get the boot in the class?

Is Dobbs still a possibility?

The Sopsher's
Lee - it's been stated he will get a crack at WR, but many have said OLB/S may be his landing spot in college.
Cain
just a wild guess on George Pickens... BASED has said he was a BIG fan of LSU and the throwing done on Saturday when he was in attendance might count for something.

How good is the older Sopsher? I couldn’t find any college film.

I remember when we offered Lanard people were saying it was just because of his brother but I saw enough of his film to see he could develop to be a contributor later down the line.

Any potential in Rodney developing and contributing after some time in the program?

Bama has four spots. The last couple of years LSU has had someone favored the entire recruiting cycle right up until signing day and they all of a sudden sign with Bama. Now LSU has three Amite boys that we are holding out for. What's the chances of this happening?

Bama has 3-4 they are getting rid of and they can sign a total of 28 with 3 back counting to last class.

You can still sign over 25. If you had open spots the previous year early enrollees can count towards the previous class.

Not any more , all classes are limited to 25 in a given recruiting year, If LSU had not signed Burrow and Alexander this summer they would still only be able to sign 25 in this class.

Do you think that if Pickering or Dean wanted in, we make room? If so, at whose expense? I know both are unlikely but wishful thinking.
