Miami has zero interest in DJL. It’s gonna come down to mestemaker, leavitt or Bailey for Miami imo. Leavitt makes me nervous bc of his injury - beck was out for last spring and most of the summer and definitely affected him.
We’ll probably end up with Bailey which I guess isn’t the worst thing in the world.
My $0.02.

This all henges on the Chambliss waiver that should be happening per Chambliss. Not really confident he gets it. If he does, that’s your QB and I would bet we pick up another- not of same caliber, plus another high school QB.
If waiver does not get approved- Sorsby is target number 1 but TTech is the team to beat with him and NFL is still in play.
If Leavitt passes medical clearance he will be the guy Lane targets after Sorsby.
Lagway is intriguing. Lane could work with him. Baylor is the obvious preference for him but the program is in rough shape and he wants a guarantee developer since he just took a big risk with Florida for two seasons.
Underwood throws a wrench in all of this if it happens. Which we will know soon.

I personally hope Chambliss gets the extra year and comes to LSU. After that then I’m fine with any of them except Lagway. I just don’t want Lagway.

Have you guys actually looked at Sorsbys' numbers and play against competent defenses? Hard pass for me!!

Ironically, Fernando Mendoza is from Miami and went to the same high school as Mario Cristobal.

When will Chambliss know if he gets another year?

Lagway would kill it at Miami in ACC!

I would rather Chambliss over Lagway.
Bryce coming back would be my #1 choice

Agreed, Baylor is going hard after Lagway.

TTech or NFL, his girl just transferred. Pussy is undefeated.

Let Lagway go to Miami

I had Sellers penciled in at Miami, shocked that didn’t materialize.

quote:After watching both QBs, the difference between Beck and Bailey was literally just the talent around them. While i don't think Bailey would hit almost 75% cmp (because that is crazy unless everything is 5 yards out or behind), he completed nearly 70% with 23 TD to 9 ints, which is barely off of Beck's 25 TD to 10 ints with tons of better talent surrounding him. Also, while he isn't the best runner, they do have designed runs for him and he's definitely more mobile than Beck.
We’ll probably end up with Bailey which I guess isn’t the worst thing in the world.
If I would rank on QBs I'd want at LSU next year in order from who likely is in the portal
Chambliss
Underwood
Byrum Brown
For people that don't understand the Underwood love from me, the potential is out of this world. I can clearly see JD year one JD year two at LSU for him except Lane and Weis are his QB coaches.
