Looking for the highest bidder

I hope we have learned our lesson and understand that the last two days are where the recruitment can/will be won NIL wise.
I’m not sure there was really a lesson that needed to be learned. They just had commitments from players with a total NIL market value greater than the NIL funds they had available. It’s better to have too many good players “committed” and lose a few but still end up with a Top 5-10 class than to make a late charge like Florida did but still land outside the Top 10.

Really, who cares about this kids tweet? If you do, you should evaluate why you do

Wrong. Look no further than the Underwood recruitment. Tell me what relationship he had with Michigan. Even though he was in their backyard, Harbaugh had burned that bridge. He had zero camps and zero recruiting visits with the current coaching staff. He signed strictly and 100% for the money.

Good for Richard. Early commits often don’t get wined & dined like others unless they are at the top of their class. Nobody should knock this kid for wanting to enjoy the recruiting process.

Pull it and move along...a lot of water to flow between now and '26

Then he isn't committed.

I thought he said this several months ago. Something to the extent that just because I'm committed doesn't mean my recruitment isn't still open.

Dude should just decommit.
Posted on 12/23/24 at 2:51 pm to JakeFromStateFarm
No, we should decommit from him and tell him to let us know when he is ready to get serious...why hold a spot for a kid just playing with LSU...That is why Bryce is at Michigan...We were just a placeholder for negotiations.

You would probably be shocked to realize how few of commits we would have if we did this. Even guys we signed played this game and just got more money from us.

Maybe you should evaluate why you’re on this board?
Posted on 12/23/24 at 2:59 pm to Captain Crown
i almost say pull his offer with this attitude
find someone else to take his spot who has proven ability
find someone else to take his spot who has proven ability

Usually agree with the masses but this dude is a stud. He’s a big time lineman in our backyard and if he has a senior season similar to his junior, just pay him what his agent asks for and move on.

Yeah that’s a retarded take

Cbk has already shown that he knows better and smartly not to over pay for a player. Anderson will be no diffrent when the time comes to decide what he will or will not pay for.
