Okay, haha. If I disagree I am and old miss fan? My bad. I meant to say "We are getting everybody." Was that better?

If we can’t get him I’d rather he go to tech and stay out of the SEC

Go watch his OV visits he posts on YouTube and tell me which school he favors the most based off his reactions.

I watched it. The highest bidder will win. I think it will be finished before signing day, and I don't think it will be LSU.

While I have my doubts as well, I won’t put anything past Lane Kiffin if he really wants a player. That man can convince LSU to outbid the best of them for a player he really wants. I’m trying to remember that we aren’t dealing with cheap Brian Kelly anymore.

Well it wasn't all Kelly as it was Scott Woodward who wouldn't pay with both Coach O and Kelly when it came to coaches and players...

Coach O is the ace in the hole on this one. He like coaches and culture and his dad does too. Dad was a Cowboy, so fam is probably not hurting for money. I just think the money needs to be close and respectful.

lmao. Coach O was in his ear and he was trying to go along with it. Did you watch the video? Body language man. Im sure he thinks coach O is fine, but the highest bidder is winning this. Its really not that hard to understand. I just think someone else comes out the woodwork with some insane offer, and LSU says nah.

It may be that TT is unwilling to put up a fight b/c it cannot take much more credibility/ PR damage so soon after the Sorsby debacle.

I just curious, why are you blaming these kids and their families? They didn't create the system, but they should take full advantage of this f'ed up system. Now if your kid was the #1 prospect in the country, you mean to tell me you wouldn't be out there with your kid hearing the best offers for your kid? If no, bullshite!!!!! I don't like this system, but I be damn if I wouldn't be out here taking visits and hearing offers, but I wouldn't push my kid in any direction, I'd allow him to make the final decision.

Some of you are unbelievably fricking stupid. Tech is just going to give up on him because of bad press related to a player that never played for Tech

I have no idea what you are talking about. I have reread my posts and NEVER blamed the kids or their families for the current situation. In fact, if anything, I blamed the universities for making this NIL situation much worse by OVERPAYING for players who had not proven themselves to be worth the money.

And yeah, I will repeat that Texas Tech is the BIGGEST PIMP university in college football. And please, don't be so naive to think that Texas Tech would not have FEIGNED concern for Sorsby and his future in football if he had been a 3rd string WR.

Right, that is pretty much exactly what I said also. Doesn't mean TT is going to get out of the NIL market, but everyone is keeping a keen eye on them after that Sorsby fiasco. I can't remember EVER seeing an issue where NO ONE...and I mean NO ONE took one side(TT's) of that situation. Everyone but Texas Tech condemned how they were handling that situation where a player had blatantly violated the no gambling guidelines that have been in place for decades in both college and pro sports.
