I'm not sure LSU missed. I think they moved on. When you have the commits LSU has at WR and you have other position needs the coaches finally just moved on. BJT is good but we are not talking about a Randy Moss type talent here. He had his chance and didn't want to commit so now he can go somewhere else. No hard feelings but LSU doesn't need him. They need top OL top CB and DL

If anything you take him just so Bama doesn’t get him. Either way WR isn’t a need or priority.

I doubt it, they want him I'm sure. There is no guarantee we can keep everyone we have committed and I'm sure he is higher on the board then a lot of the guys currently committed. So they would make room for him.

I don't think we've stopped pursuing him and would take him but I've mentioned before that I could see a point where he isn't committable any longer. If we land Foreman, Smith, Leigh and another OL, somebody has to get left out. It's just simple math. WR isn't that high in the list of priorities with the kids committed. Of course we could lose a kid or 2 so you never stop pursuing him and his talent speaks for itself.
If there are any legs to the "bag" rumors(which I have only heard and am generally skeptical of) I could definitely see the staff backing away. We cannot give the NCAA any ammo to hammer us currently. My curiosities lead me to believe he's gonna end up at TAM, not Bama. Got a McKinley Jackson feel to this recruitment.

Probably the latter. For years posters on this board have bitched about putting all our chips on a losing square an d then missed on the plan B. Now it appears the powers that be have identified one of those losing squares and has moved those chips to the next best thing and people still bitchin

Obviously he is snoozing for a reason
O needs to tell him to committ now or we won’t have a spot for him

One player no matter where he is from should not hold up a provrams recruiting. If we moved on so be it. If he really wanted to play 20 min from home he should have committed. We are good at that position anyway. By now after winning natty home kids should committ or silent committ if they truly love he purple and gold. He is not the first and will not be the last to leave his home state

They told the #1 running back from Houston to look elsewhere.
