I know it’s early and stuff changes daily now with NIL.. but it feels really fricking nice to look at the states top recruits and not see that ugly arse red A next to any of their names

These young athletes can stay at home and play in front of family and the state, and eat Mama's cooking. If we put a nice NIL package in front of them then we have a good chance of keeping them.

What year is it?

Alabama hasn’t been a player in Louisiana in 5+ years.

In terms of LA recruiting, it’s Texas now.

I never said they don’t get people. Sure they get a player occasionally but they used to be dedicated to Louisiana recruiting.

It is, but we have less of the top 10 this year than years in the past, and it's not because of a dearth of talent.

2017 was the last time Bama has had any type of success in the state.

2 of the top 10 don't have committable offers from LSU

Yep. Since 2020 the only year Alabama has gotten significant LA players was '22...which was in the wake of a coaching change. And one of those guys, Anderson, transferred to LSU after one season. The only other top 10 player Alabama got that LSU didn't was Eli Holstein...who is now the likely backup at Pitt.

Alabama has created PTSD syndrome for many LSU fans. They haven't been winning since 2020 because they were taking Louisiana's top players. It's because they got the benefit of two years of Orgeron unleashing his football "brain" on the sport and one of, if not the worst, LSU defenses ever.
