A&M is going to be a problem.

It’s been 8 years in between since they’ve beaten LSU on a LA kid that LSU really wanted. And I’m not even sure how hard they’ve been after Moss.

Don’t start this shite

Not starting anything. But I guess the correct phrasing as things currently stand would be "I hate that they have started to infiltrate Louisiana."

As always, it's not who you lose, but who you get. Moss, Law, and Citizen are all top 100 caliber backs who everybody wants. LSU wasn't ever going to take all 3, even if all 3 camped out on Ed's door and begged to come. So they are going to go somewhere, typically to teams we have to compete against

Now if LSU doesn't get any of the 3, and they all go to other SEC teams? That's where the problems start to mount up

Jimbo is absolutely killing in on the recruiting trail.

If we don't nail this hire we're in trouble.

Yes he is. That’s what makes this next hire so crucial. Jimbo has recruited well everywhere he’s been but on field results are usually underwhelming.

I was told not to worry about that arse&m pool party and that none of it mattered.

Sure looks like all these players have bonded.

Bad year to shite the bed

It's actually a pretty good year to shite the bed. Imagine a year where we lose a guy like Moss, but don't already have a guy like Citizen.

Plus, we've got a stud QB and 2 stud OL coming. Those are pretty solid corner pieces for a class.

It'll round into shape once a hire has been announced.

We will eat a shite sandwich this year on in-state kids whether we like it or not. That's the nature of a regime change. That said, what happens after a coach is named, when relationships are repaired, new players transfer in, the new coach's relationship pays dividends on players not currently on our radar, etc is important to keep in mind.

Jimbo had top 5 classes at FSU too. The problem is he can't get his offense out of the early 2000's. I'm really not terribly worried about Aggy with him there.

That’s right. We don’t need Anderson cause he is a WR. We don’t need Moss cause he is a RB. We are loosing elite players to big rivals. Keep kidding yourself.

Have they signed yet?

This is why everyone needs to quit freaking out about A&M. Their DC Elko is also propping them up a great deal. I’ll be interested to see how they look once he moves on because we know what you get with Jimbo.

Yeah, I’m with you. Don’t even know how they’re getting these kids right now. They underachieve every year whether he has the talent or not.

Not the only highly rated Louisiana kid that’s on the verge of committing to A&M. Stay tuned… sigh.

Ehh, losing Moss was never really a big deal to me

We're probably going to lose a back or two as it is. We have a loaded RB room.

TDP
Emery
Bradford
Goodwin
Kiner
Citizen

ETA: Williams too.

Baton Rouge area already Moss and Holstein.

Manning isn't coming.

Collins to Purdue.

Pray to god Walker stays committed. Until we get our new coach dont bold your breath.

Quincy Wiggins doesn't come burn it down.

I expect we see attrition from at least 2-3 of TDP, Emery, Bradford.
