If so, then nothing short of a 180 from this season, both on the field and in recruiting, should be enough to save him going forward.

Exactly. That's what I meant with my last post.. crazy how they get blown out last night then boom surpirse lol Leigh to Clemson. I know they've been on him, but I haven't seen anyone really predicting him to go there. Oh well.. 1 kid can't make or break a class even though we really needed him.

Ty Crawford, who we passed on due to grades last year, is in the portal. There are actually some really good options there this year if we don’t get Moko, some of who will have 3 or 4 years of eligibility. It’s not a one guy or bust situation, especially since we did get the commit earlier this week.
He definitely worked himself into an OT from OG. I don't think Charlotte has done him a whole lot of favors, but the foundation is still there and he hasn't lost this year of eligibility; so we're basically back at square 1. He hasn't blown up weight wise or anything like that.
Is he a direct replacement for Leigh? Hell no. If we had the choice it would be Leigh. Do I think Crawford can be a starting OT in the SEC? Yes, I do.

They were the heavy favorites early on in his recruitment if I recall. Regardless it’s time for Cregg to go. We will not complete with Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia and Alabama for the elite offensive lineman if he’s the coach long term. Ed needs to cut ties with his buddy before it’s too late!!!

I feel the same. I'm not as down on him as most on this board are, but next year will be a big year for him. We finally have some in state targets in recruiting and it looks like a lot of experience will be coming back.
His recruiting has been ok. Obviously not outstanding, but Bradford, Dumervil and Dellinger were pretty good OOS pulls. Throw in Martinez, who was able to hold his own as a true freshman and some other higher rated guys who are hopefully still developing, and I don't think he's been a failure by any means.

I follow Clemson and LSU. I can tell you while this board was always reporting it was out of LSU and OU, the Clemson board/moderator has said they have been in there mix and not to be surprised if Clemson lands them.
