Nothing. He agreed to take this last visit because Kelly asked him to come down before making a decision. I’ve been saying it since the summer that he was enamored by Bama and LSU was behind on him. Can’t afford to have more than a rare year like this one. Hopefully, the product on the field and the reputation being built will get us on track. Also need to find some more creative ways to use NIL to our advantage.

Where exactly are these Boutte rumors coming from? I've seen a bunch of people mention it, but nothing remotely sourced and it just doesn't make sense at all. Once Stingley leaves Boutte will be LSU's most visible player by a wide margin (so he'll get all the NIL money), he's a lock to be a first round pick if he stays meanwhile there is a (small) chance that he isn't even WR1 at Bama, Bama doesn't have any more money than LSU (so there's no NIL bag to get), and LSU is by far the closest school to home. There just isn't an angle where him transferring makes any sense, and yet everybody talks about it like it's a done deal despite nobody mentioning where it's even coming from.

You asking the wrong question. You need to be asking yourself what the hell is going on at LSU? We lost the top 3 receivers in our state to Bama. It’s more concerning to me that LSU couldn’t at least pull one of these guys.

Yeah it’s really, really bad if Law leaves as well. You needed him in your class and you let him walk. We need more sense of urgency with these guys. Our state was raided this year because we didn’t get our shite together with NIL

He has said he will wait until Spring to see how things shake out. Hopefully having Brennan back in the fold will help. We’ll see what kind of splash Kelly makes with the OC hire as well.

We were raided this year because O lost his mind the last two years and drove this program off a cliff. The sharks have been circling for a while now. I guess money is the driving force for all these decisions instead of early playing time like it used to be. We’ll be fine at WR. I don’t remember a time when we haven’t been.

I’d rather focus on the kids we sign. Than frown about the ones we don’t. WR position will be fine the state will put out more next year

We got the 4 best/ most important recruits in the state
NIL had nothing to do with those kids going to Bama
It has everything to do with Bama winning all the time and us going 11-11 the last 2 years and going through the first real rebuild in 20 years

This right here is exactly what's going on.
Ever since the championship, the program's been in a complete nosedive.
It looked for a minute like Orgeron was going to pull out of it last December when he got all those guys to come back and signed the class we did, but it's pretty obvious now he was selling guys on a vision he simply couldn't deliver on.
