But hey, facts and context aren't fun

Neither is the fact that the staff here gave him multiple opportunities to take Jones’ job and move him inside. He wasn’t as good as Jones was as a true freshman at making that leap onto the field and couldn’t get it done.

You will keep covering for him because you are personally invested in this one, but Heard hasn’t live up to the hype for two straight seasons. You can try to deny that, but he had his opportunity to shine this year and he has struggled for most of it, even against some weaker teams.

He has two more seasons, but a lot of improving to do to live up to the hype. But I would bet UT is hedging their bets and portal shopping for OTs right now.

Funny, this one crossed my mind, but I dont believe he left on good graces.

BK sounds like he feels Adams is ready. Pick up a RT in portal and we are in good shape now.

I know what he looks and moves like when healthy, and it wasn't what he put on tape this year.

Not personally invested but will bookmark now just because you want to try and say i told you so after 1 injured plagued season lmao

Injuries will cause a 5* to play like a 3*. We'll see next year...

In watching him after each play, he’s the Maason Smith of OL. Talking shite and fighting after every play, after getting owned.

You must not have watched the game last night.

I will take our chances with one of the unproven young guys over that leadfoot.

If Adams takes that spot (remember that he was hurt for awhile this year), then we’ll need competent depth in case he or the other tackle goes down.

He’s build reminds me of Kardell Thomas. All upper body and toothpicks for legs. Feet of bricks!

Those are 2 completely different plays in one he's a puller smashing an undersized LB on a Run play, The other he looks like a child getting a move put on them by their dad in a pick up basketball game.

I don’t know what his stats say, but my eyes told me he was a liability. I made a point to pay attention to him and 1 pressure is being kind.

Ok You literally went on record this year that we should have shuffled the OL around to cater to him playing Tackle over guys he didn’t beat out. That would have been a huge mistake.

I think he would have to sit a year if transferring to a third SEC team.

He'd have to sit a year, but not because of that.

I'm not sure there's another tackle in the SEC that he'd start over.

Yea, cause LSU’s offensive line was so good. Lmao. LSU fricked up by not having Emery jones play C years ago

damn you are so observant

The point isn’t him “smashing” the smaller guy. It’s how he moves healthy vs not

We are well-aware of the struggles. Heard STILL never beat out Jones or Campbell and would not have helped us.

Jones is 6-6. We have plenty of evidence of how guys that tall struggle to play that position. He may be a fine Guard, but you are a fool talking about making him a Center.
