What's the point of a tweet like this from him?

Might as well post "it's looking bad for LSU's recruiting, all of you rival fanbases come laugh at LSU"

Fire frank now if this is the case. Absolute insanity if this is true and he is telling players to leave. frick off

No, we need Frank. Dude is a legend in recruiting Louisiana and specifically New Orleans. Figure out a way to make it work. Would be a colossal mistake to not keep him

Not that complicated. He’s sad to see his friends decommit/be processed

Let me translate for you:

"Gentlemen, it appears we are at a crossroads. The hiring of a new head coach at LSU has caused all of us recruits to take a moment, reflect on the journey that has been and what will be. Going forward, we can only hope and pray for continued success for both ourselves as young men and for the great state of Louisiana and its flagship university. Thank you for your time."

“Recruiting staff” is way less important these days when money now talks.

Players/family will now follow the money. All things equal, then relationships count. Otherwise, it’s the money.

Different ballgame folks.

If a position coach that isn’t even particularly that good at developing his players has your program by the balls then you don’t have a program.

Since when have position coaches been this big of a deal
Its not a big deal but agents will use this to push back the recruitment, this is how they are advised. They want to make more money. No benefit to him signing tomorrow when he can keep asking for more money.

So far we’ve had 1 4 star and 2 3 stars decommit, and we have had 2 4 stars and 1 3 star commit. Probably getting another 4 stars receiver and maybe even a 5 star coming on board also.

We are a net positive so far

Not about coaches but rather about getting a bigger piece of the $25,000,000 pie. Money is the root of all evil, including the destruction of college sports.

Every year we get to this day and are hanging in the emotions of 18 year olds. We all know the only consistent thing in life is change. This is their first taste of it.

I dunno, would a position coach leave LSU to be a position coach at Tulane? Only one can get a true upgrade to DC. I assume Olsen would be a DC candidate for him.

Corey ain't leaving LSU to go coach at Tulane . I've seen nothing that would indicate Corey is even close to being let go.

You do realize LSU has recruited New Orleans and Louisiana just fine without Frank on staff, yeah? New Orleans is a wildcard regardless of who you have recruiting them. Frank has missed on a few big recruits out of New Orleans in both of his tenures here. He's not some lockdown recruiter who never misses out on players. He misses a lot of them, actually. Y'all need to get over this shite. If he's holding the program hostage and using recruits as leverage, then he should be fired and outted for it publicly.

You also have to look at the amount of NOLA guys we've taken that didn't amount to shite.
