this kid supposedly the real deal. I live not far from Manvel HS and I will have to go watch a game or two this year--I have heard some buzz--couple of old timers talked about him out here recently (webster slaughter and alonzo high smith)

TA, how does Parker's commitment affect Baker? Lafell/Bowe, Lafell/Randle, etc. It works!

I'm not saying the commitment affects Baker in that way.

OBJr and RSheppard have plenty of speed to be deep threats like Byrd, and better overall WRs they just need someone to get them the ball, which has been the problem. I'm pretty confident we have a few incoming freshmen that can burn as well(Dural is gonna be good)

Kind of a chicken or the egg situation and like you said we've got the next two quarterbacks(crosses fingers that Rettig sticks). The quarterbacks are the chicken. The egg will follow.

we really don't have a deep threat. I love Jarvis and Odell, but man it would've been nice to add cord patterson for this season. We've become a little too conservative offensively IMO, and part of that is due to personnel. Leslie is a real coup and I really wish he was already there, but he's not.

What's this got to do with a 2013 recruit?

I think Desean Smith could make as big of an impact on the offense as anyone in this class, if we can get him signed. He is as good a pass-catching te as anyone in the country this year IMO.

Forgot about Dural. If he can make an early impact we'll be pretty dangerous.

This offense is going to be sick for the next 3 years if Desean Smith commits. Don't forget about Liggins in the wildcat packages

Scout really made a brilliant move by taking someone from a failing medium and inserting him as editor of a successful one. How is that newspaper model working out for them?

Kyrion Parker talks LSU pledge (24/7)

Tiger Sports World Interview with Parker
Kyrion Parker Becomes #15
quote:

Lastly, with Oklahoma recently throwing an offer out to Kryion last week, was there ever any consideration on that recent big-time offer? "No Sir, they were too late to the dance, because I had already done my research on LSU, and liked everything about the Tigers," says Parker.

Isn't Kyrion an element on the periodic table? I'm pretty sure he's a noble gas, just above Krypton and just below Argon. Either way, I'm terribly excited to have an inert gas hauling in catches at LSU for the next four years.

Ahhh I missed the news early! Awesome pickup though. I knew I shouldn't have taken that nap earlier.
