Maybe I’m wrong but could it be that even though he won’t ever play for Oregon, saying nice things about the coach to help them. It’s the Pacific Northwest on their dime. Kid just wants to see the country. I have no problem with that.
Someone brought up taking a job….
If you’re scheduled to take a job and another company offered to fly you out and wine and dine you…. With all parties knowing there’s no shot, you wouldn’t?
Remember when coach O recruited tua knowing he was never coming here? Optics are everything.

Were any of you REALLY convinced a Moses was coming?
After the commit, de commit, tuck tail and run to IMG saga of Dylan, im convinced their early verbals are a ploy to buy time and keep the backlash at a minimum. Lil bro is probably looking for the bag. This time it’s not a Dodge.

Doesn’t hurt me. Just calling it for what it is. It’s as contrived and scripted as the Landon Collins/ Willis/mom “saga”
Keylan's name is Eli.

I really expect this to smooth over.
It probably will, unless LSU fans (posing as such, or the real thing) talk so much shite to his mom or about him and it sours the whole family on LSU, again.
Normally I would give the kid the benefit of the doubt, but this is the Dylan Moses playbook to a T.
I do think a lot of this has to do with the fact that there are quite a few players considered a higher priority by the staff than Key. Based off his own interviews he thought he was going to be a 5 star top 25 player in the country, and that hasn't played out.
Ross seems to be much higher on their LB board than Key, and I think those two things combined have Key feeling a little unloved.
However, our fans should act like the adults they (mostly) are and not shite talk their own commits or recruits. Mainly for their own sake, with the side benefit of not offending players they are trying to recruit.

These kids and their neediness is annoying. There is such a lack of allegiance and integrity for so many of these kids.

Good advice, but it work both ways. LSU fans were not making negative comments until social media comments were posted by the recruit and family.

The landscape of College Sports but more importantly College Football is on such a downward trend. I pray hes successful in Football because when you get into the corporate world you cannot have the same entitlement and "what can you give me/do for me" attitude.

Are we going to do this shite again? Commit and remain steadfast or bounce.
Don’t get an attitude when you start to waiver and people react. Simply don’t waiver. That or don’t fricking commit.
It’s not that hard.

I believe he is legit.
The On3 ranking is typical On3 bullshite.
See D'Shaun Ford, for example

What exactly is Lanning telling Moses that is different than every other coach?
Well if it's truly no gimmicks or fakeness, then he must be telling Keylan that Oregon has never won a national title in football

Maybe he’ll say he wanted to be at LSU, but “mama told me not to come.”
Posted on 7/2/24 at 7:12 am to Salviati
Maybe he’ll commit to us and it’ll be “joy to the world”

We are in fact doing it again
. So now with Oregon popping off their side feels pretty good about landing him.

waver /wa'v?r/
intransitive verb
To move unsteadily back and forth:
waiver /wa'v?r/
noun
Intentional relinquishment of a right, claim, or privilege.
ETA Example: Prince Harry wavered on signing a waiver relinquishing his rights to the royal throne.

Then don’t use the word COMMIT. It’s a joke.

I get the LSU fans love for Shea, and On3 may have a lot of shiny bells and whistles, but their rankings suck.

I wait for the Clean rankings… we could get that stickied you know? You recognize talent before anyone else and have for years.

I had an offer to rank the players this year, but the pay was too low.
I can't afford to work for free (or next to it).

(and that's a lot of work if you try to do it right)
