I'm just spitballing, and I know he'd be an upgrade at one guard spot, but he's nasty af and looks to me like he would kill it at DT in a 3-4. Any chance he'd get a look there if a couple guys declare early? There's a chance they only sign one DT this cycle.

Our OL is a complete disaster and you want our best incoming offensive lineman possibly switched to defense?

Kardell will take a starting spot next year on the OL

Why on crack? Guys switch from OL to DL and vice versa all the time. DTs are generally valued higher than OGs and LSU may be paper thin on the DL after the next draft. Not to mention them being soft as baby shite up the middle against power running this season. Are you saying he doesn't have the tools to be a beast noseguard?

THey lack tackles. Hines is going to be a good guard and surely they will find someone serviceable at the other guard spot with all the guards on the roster. Unless Shelvin does a 180, they don't have a stud NG currently on the roster.

Jesus dude, he is just asking a question. Some of you are some miserable mother frickers!

No, Thomas is a shoe in at RG next year. We need his nastiness on this line bad!

Kardell will likely be a dominant guard. That is much preferable to 'finding someone serviceable'.

Name the last guy to switch from offensive line to defensive line? Not saying it doesn’t happen but 9 out of 10 time it is a defensive lineman moving to offensive line.

True Thomas is a stud and must get recruit but as bad as our OL is, there is no guarantees that he will come in and start next season.

Because right now our problem is scoring points.

No. He's needed on the OL.

Who does he beat out? Cush, Lewis or Hines? I don't see any of those guys sitting the bench. In fact, with Deculus and Sahdiq, I think that's your starting line unless there is attrition or injury.

That is a very talented group, but several just weren't ready this year.

You know LSU needs help on the O-line. Not an option.

Didn't even read your post. Just popped in to DV the terrible idea in your thread title.

He will likely be better than all 3 of those guys you listed. It will probably be Brooks and Hines as our starting guards, if I had to guess.

I think Kardell looks any of the 3 (but more likely Hines and Lewis) squarely in the eyes and says this:
Ludacris has a message

Then he goes back to his griddle and gets to work. Do you prefer syrup or butter on your pancakes?
