This is absolutely correct. Sorsby is a Cincinnati QB who is now being paid an insane amount of money. He’s not a first round QB. He’s not a game changing player.
Leavitt has led a team to the playoffs. Leavitt is a better player than Sorsby.
Personally, I am rejoicing we didn’t pay Sorsby that much. He’s not that good.

I've seen some people like Moscona say Sorsby was the #1 QB or player in the portal, but 247 and on3 both seem to have Leavitt ahead of him. And no, I do not mean #1 target for LSU.
Even with the injury concern I think LSU fans should be thrilled to get Leavitt. I think some posters take any questions about the injury the wrong way. I'm not upset over Sorsby choosing TT.

He's correct Leavitt is a better player. He's also one of the best QBs under pressure graded in the country. He's 8th there so that shows you he has clutch ability as well. ASU did well and far exceeded their expectations because they have very little NIL budget. They screwed him and Dilly this year. No NIL help despite how good their season was. His team was not talented and for almost the entire season he played with that injury while it got progressively worse. Oh yeah, he also handed Texas Tech their only loss on the regular season despite his line getting destroyed in that game and his WRs constantly dropping bombs he was making. The concern with Leavitt is the injury and nobody on here has access to his medicals. LSU is not dumb.
