I’m almost 99% sure Underwood’s family is moving down to Baton Rouge fairly soon.
It’s been game over since he committed.
Anybody thinking he’s going to Michigan and that 1970’s offense isn’t thinking clearly. Underwood has every opportunity in the world to come to LSU, win a Title, win a Heisman, be a top pick, and make hundreds of millions of dollars.

The rumor was always ridiculous. It was nothing more than a desperate attempt by Michigan fans to get Bryce’s attention. There’s 0 football reasons Bryce would choose Michigan over LSU it’s a no brainer he’s even done interviews pointing out their lack of qb development lol

In the wild west NIL era, I'll never believe a recruit is 100% locked in until he's actually on campus. But Bryce has done nothing to indicate he's wavered at all. He made his commitment, hasn't taken any more visits, continues to be vocal for LSU. He's done everything you'd hope for.

Bryce is coming to Baton Rouge to win a Heisman trophy , a national title , and be the Number 1 pick in the NFL draft

That’s the part people forget. It’s literally one of the worst passing offenses you could possibly go to. LSU has pumped out multiple heismans 5 years apart. He will get it another few 3-4 years after Jayden to keep that train going.

Imagine thinking that $4MM is worth going to a school where you're almost guaranteed not to be developed as a passer.

This “rumor” reeks of desperation from Michigan fans

Cost of living better in Baton Rouge

It's like poorly written fan fiction. It almost makes you feel bad for them. Almost.

Not only is the offense lining up for him to have tremendous success at LSU but all three phases are getting exponentially better. Bo Davis and People's are just simply making things work for now, wait until they actually have the dogs they recruited here at LSU to line up.
Things are about to get real ugly for the rest of the country. LSU defense back to its former self with this potent offensive attack is dangerous. Just wait until we put Green on that field. I’ve been waiting for that the entire season and I think it was a mistake not using both him and Pimpton all year long.
We could have had a real physical offense with those dudes out wide catching balls over the middle and on go routes. Especially inside of the RZ and on 3rd downs. RB room is going to be deep with Frank back at it as well. We have a beastly staff who can both recruit and develop. WR room is going no where and Louisiana simply produces the best athletes around.

quote:crazy part is, he's about to see 2 different QBs throw at least 40 TDs at LSU in back to back years. Three different ones do it in a 6 year span, and you think he will pick the school that likely won't hit 40 TD passes in the last two years COMBINED?

His receiving talent and RB talent, and OL will be ridiculous here. His defense is about to be top 10 yearly.
These Michigan boys crazy

The Michigan fans remind me of us back in the day being cryptic about some recruit we have no actual shot of landing. Posting coy, sly statements full of qualifiers like if, but, maybe etc. to cover their asses, then claiming that they’re trying to respect the kids process or some other bullshite when it reality they probably are running with some vague statement from a 4th hand source and don’t have the balls to make a definitive statement. When Underwood signs with us in 6 weeks, they’ll claim something fell through or Bryce changed his mind but he was definitely 100% coming to Michigan last month so they weren’t wrong at all, recruiting is just “fluid”. It’s classic recruiting site bullshite. It takes me back to the good ole days of 5 for 5, Voldemort, and #Ride4Quille.

Especially true given the recent run of top-flight QB's to come out of LSU.
Even if Michigan offered 5 mil it still pales to what he'll eventually get as a top-3 QB in the draft (which won't happen at Michigan).

No doubt. But something else to consider.. how often do highly touted QB’s actually flip during their recruitment? Obviously we’ve seen QB’s transfer from college to college. But I can’t recall very many highly ranked QB’s flipping during their recruitment.
Seems like it’s usually CB’s and WR’s doing all the dramatic crap. But maybe that’s just my selective memory at work.
