They have them both ranked very low. I don't understand why.

Who cares? The only thing that matters is that they’re on campus.

If this is the case, Arch shouldn't be worried about competing with Howard.

On3's ratings need work for sure.

Their rating on welch is criminal.

If you really want a good laugh go dig up On3’s defense of the rankings. Apparently Walker is too short to be a 5 star “all while that didn’t matter with Bryce Young”. And Campbell’s arms are too short. They measure 33”, while the majority of NFL LTs measure 34”.......

That’s their reasoning....wish I had a link, just remember their reasoning from reading it a while back.

Could there be a Crimson reason?

How did Aaron Anderson jump over 100 spots and both Howard and Blackwell drop and no games were played? Oh wait only 1 of the 3 players signed with Bama and that player’s last name is Anderson.

What a coincidence! All the talk about Bama coming into Louisiana and taking 3 WR from LSU when LSU would have taken no more than 1 of them because LSU needed players at other positions far more than WR. Then LSU offers 3star TE Danny Lewis after Brian Kelly arrived and you would have thought Bama had signed Howard or Blackwell when LSU only offered Lewis because Jake Johnson decommitted.

Lost in all the Lewis BS was the fact that LSU had signed a higher rated TE from Florida (Mason Taylor) who had also been offered by Bama. No comment at all from 247.

Finally, the fact that Bama offered 11 of LSU’s 15 signees (which should have at least 3 5star players) is not talked about but there was damn sure no shortage of BS about Danny Lewis being taken from LSU. The truth is that Lewis probably would never have received a Bama offer except for the fact LSU started recruiting him.

The rating services are biased and are a joke and always have been.

Holy shite they have Will Campbell ranked as the 10th best prospect in LA

He did nothing but dominate all year and at camps.

Hell, if they had known Harold Perkins was coming to LSU and had time to “adjust their rankings” he probably would have been dropped to a 4 star player (as high as they can rank a 4 star). The whole recruiting service game is a fraud and is “adjusted” to suit a certain Crimson faction.

Having Bryce Young as a 5 star was insane. Kid didn’t weigh 170 pounds with rocks in his pockets. Put his scrawny arse on any other team and he looks like a dog shite QB. One of the most overrated QBs I’ve seen in a long time.

I don't understand what's unfair about this. 33" arms is short for a high-end OT. That's an objective truth. The average arm length for all drafted OTs--not just high draft picks but all draft picks--is 34 1/8 inches. 33" arms is a legitimate drawback for a tackle.

Just curious what the average arm length was for that same set of drafted OTs when they were high school seniors ...

One of the worst takes ever. Bryce young could deliver the ball anywhere on the field with superior accuracy at 170 pounds.
