Vandy is #46 and LSU is #47. Oh no! The world is ending! I'm going to jump off a bridge! We need to shut down football and fire Kelly!

Bama is sitting at 18 or 19 I think so we might as well shut down the entire SEC West.

Northwestern is #12 - clearly a program on the rise by these rankings

Wake Forest, Duke, and Cincy all have Top-20 classes....
and Texas Tech is #7 another big riser....

Oh wait its June and any of the schools in the teens or low 20s with commits will be ranked higher. Thought it may prove one point I do not know if this many guys were committed at this time pre portal. But it seems as if your 3 star guys are committing earlier knowing there spot or any spot at any Power 5 school may be gone come December with the portal.

Schools that pay have to wait for players to decide on highest offers.

Way it is now. CFB recruiting used to be something I invested time in. It was fun to track on the pay sites, etc. And you ended up knowing the whole roster and where kids went to high school, etc.

Those days are sadly over. It's just different now.

Players are weighing their financial offers and schools then know to get Rashada, for example, you have to beat $9.5 and not be the Florida Gators. Posturing... players and schools.

Look at their commits and look at ours. We don’t have a single recruit in the top-100. They have two five star cornerbacks and are leading for several other top-100 players. Besides Sampson, who is LSU leading for in the top 100? One other player?

Our highest ranked recruit is a TE from Missouri. Some of you blowing this off are crazier than the ones saying the sky is falling.

An entire 4 star defensive line was fong'd to us yesterday. Zalance heard is considered a strong lsu lean. We are in good position with the 5 star wr brown and the highly ranked db out of Texas. It wouldn't be a shock if a few of the instate guys committed elsewhere flip back to lsu closer to signing day. Melting down over recruiting at this point is just like melting down during the coaching search when all was lost and we had to hire stoops

Why would I bet against that? I think with transfers it’s very likely LSU lands a top 10 class

You just can’t rely on transfers every single year though for your recruiting class. Landing only one or two of the top 100 recruits moving forward isn’t going to work. Jaylen Brown is trending Miami and Toviano is a Texas lean.

That’s the reality you guys don’t understand. LSU can’t suddenly flip the script and just dominate with 3-4 star rated kids from the Midwest and northeast. If that’s what they choose to do, it’s not all sunshine and fricking rainbows like this board makes it out to be.

My god your full of bad information. And I’ll take Wiltfongs word about Brown and Toviano over your “hot takes”

Explain to me how it’s a “hot take” saying that Brown and Toviano are leans to other schools at the moment? They have 100% CB predictions to those schools.

You honestly believe they are both 100% LSU locks? You don’t think there’s any chance at all they can be swayed with NIL money like other UT and Miami commits?

Stop trolling and be realistic

Heard, Howard, tied at top for Bisontis at min, Womack is ranked 106
Reed and Womack are both top 50 players on On3

I am being realistic. I’m not going full soaked tampon like you and a few others. Your the one trolling. Your “top 100” BS comes straight from Mosconas mouth. Who also knows nothing about recruiting

Dude this is nothing new for Bama. They have that luxury of picking who they want in most cases. They will flip 4 or 5 high-end recruits in November/December and will finish with a top 3 class.

You're bitching about rankings on some guys who have not been evaluated properly yet or blew up recently. How many times do we have to play this game where people question rankings on LSU recruits and they end up with talent that's not far off or comparable to Bama? Do you think Parker is going to stay a 3* or Heard a 4*? Hell, who cares if they do? Anyone with eyes can see Heard with how unnatural he moves for a lineman should be a 5*.

LSU has elite scouting and have for decades now. They don't have Orgeron making the decisions now to frick the roster personnel up or let a convicted fraud felon run things for him. BK is 100x more professional and definitely more qualified for the job. Trust his and LSU's evaluations. I certainly will trust it especially since they have their board now that they saw all the recruits in camp which is the best evaluations elite vs. elite. We'll be fine. Shut up with the sky is falling syndrome.

I was joking when I posted this. I thought that was pretty obvious with the "jumping off a bridge" comment. I was taking a shot at everyone else panicking.

The only rankings that matter are at the end of the season. Recruiting rankings right now are for entertainment purposes only

I am not taking that bet, but it seems likely LSU finishes outside the top 8 this year. It also wouldn't be the end of the world.
