Best in tight spaces

He’s a day 1 punt returner type

Right. You need a guy like that for an offense to reach it's full potential
You say it some with justin jefferson
Earle can do many different things

Idk about the comparisons but what a WR core LSU is going to have the next 3 years! Wow! Not only that but our OL quality is getting better and our RB position will match this hurry/spread offense we want.

I think Bo Pelini will be fine with this defense when he gets his talent in here, has time to work with them and also has some mature defenders in his scheme. The offense however, I think needs a young more innovative coach to come help Steve with the promise of taking over that spot in 2-3 years, if not less. I can clearly see a difference in play calling, especially in the RZ.

He just doesn’t have the innovative call scheme we will need. The plays are fine. The routes are similar. It’s how you call the game that makes the difference. You have to call to set up later. Run fakes off of plays and formations that have hurt the defense because they will bite hard on that. Make them think pass and run it. Make them think run and pass it. Make them think left and go right. Not every play, but when it counts.

If we're comparing LSU receivers to Alabama receivers Boutte is Smith

Yep, exactly. Earlier this year I made the comparison that over the next 2 years (2021-2022), LSU will have their own version of that 4 horseman WR group Bama had.

Boutte = Smith
Earle = Waddle
Hilton = Jeudy
Palmer = Ruggs

Now that's not to say they will live up to those expectations, but that group does share eerily similar traits and playing styles. Hopefully Palmer can find his groove in the offense next year. We should be able to open up the playbook next year because everybody will be experienced at QB.

What a weird post. A) Jeray Jenkins IS much better than Palmer. B) Guys like Koy Moore and Adams will not go quietly into the night. Comparing our 4, 2 of which are Seniors in HS and the other has barely played in 2 years, to Bama's 4 is asinine.

Just curious what makes you think Jenkins is better than Palmer? I’ve loved what I’ve seen out of Palmer this year, but he barely plays and I can’t figure out why. Not that Jenkins is bad, he’s just not as much of a playmaker.

Palmer isnt polished at all

He needs manufactured touches

Palmer is more athletically gifted but hasnt mastered being a wide receiver yet.
I hope he puts it all together by next year

The fact you're comparing those players is delusional in of itself. All 4 comparisons are so embarrassing. You don't have to like the Alabama receiving corp but you can at least respect their ACTUAL production versus wishful thinking at best.
