LOL.

quote:

“It didn’t affect recruiting at all. I’ll say this, and I’ll address it in my press conference,” Fisher told 247Sports’ Josh Pate. “This $30 million deal is a joke. That there’s some fund out there for all these things that went down, and it was written on BroBible by a guy named Sliced Bread, and all the sudden the country believes it, is a joke. It didn’t affect recruiting at all, and I’ll address the rest of it. The people who, as I say, want to make comments on that have no idea what’s going on. It’s insulting to the players who came here and the people around us. The transfer portal is a factor.

quote:

“It’s funny because all the guys who are complaining about this use the portal and all these things more than anybody else. All the coaches in our league that are griping, and across the country, it’s amazing what goes on. It is a factor. I think it affects high school kids. I think the portal is affecting junior college kids, and I think it affects high school kids, the guys that are signed. … Listen, rules are there. I don’t know where it’s going to go. We’re in the first year of it. It’ll be interesting to see where things go, but obviously it’s here to stay.”

Fisher went on to say that anyone reporting on the alleged NIL fund at Texas A&M is “insulting” the coaches that put in the hard work to sign the players, as well as the recruits themselves.

I hope for A&M’s sake they finally make the playoff and compete for championships. Because if they don’t, with these type of recruiting classes, that would just be pitiful.

It would be funny if TAMU still wins 9 games next few years, LSU still beats them, and most of their class ends up transferring to the portal due to too many alpha dogs on the team. To top it off an NCAA death penalty would make perfect.

yes, 8-4 just came out of nowhere to get the top recruiting class for not apparent reason and money had nothing to do with it.

How dumb does he think fans are?

Jimbo is a slimeball. He does say some truth here. The class has very little to do with NIL. It's straight pay for play.

Texas coming to the SEC scared the shite out of A&M and its boosters. They did something about it.

Jimbo is such a piece of shite. He propped up a rapist to get his title and then checked out and destroyed FSU’s program on his way out the door. Now his has the gall to deny what everyone knows is happening. Hell, he joked about how we’ve had NIL for years around ESD. What a fricking joke.

At least admit that you are winning at NIL, Jimbo. That’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Jimbo is obviously full of shite. He didn’t suddenly become Nick Saban and Alabama.

What’s going to be hilarious is watching A&M melt as the majority of these players transfer out and win a championship somewhere else.

Not a Jimbo fan, but I like a good Jimbo vs Lane in the media. Makes both look dumb.

He’s lying his arse off. All these elite kids from around the country don’t flock to a program coming off an 8-4 season that hasn’t won a championship since 1939. I learned a long time ago, when something doesn’t make sense, money is always the driving force.
