This bumps their class to... checks notes... somewhere between 20th-22th, and 10th in the SEC. They needed a win badly. His cousin Donte Moncrief is the assistant recruiting coordinator. so it's not as much of a stretch as it appears even with no offensive coaches for next year.

Matthews is from Mississippi and was never committed to LSU. He was committed to Auburn and was expected to stay there. LSU never expected his commitment today.
Not sure why some of yall obsess over shite like this when LSU just signed the guys they signed today. Lamar Brown just announced btw. You know, the top recruit in America ?
