Michael Terry is the best WR in Texas and he's a 5-star that's announcing soon. He's also a Texas lean. Thats nuts if they get 3 of the top 5 WR in this class.

Terry is more of a Tyreek Hill type so he will play the slot

How many WR’s have LSU put in the NFL, that weren’t from Louisiana, since Brandon Lafelle?

It’s pretty substantial we hold on to Meadows. It would be nice to see Hankton land another big name receiver outside the state within the next two cycles. We are far and away the destination for WR and have Underwood on board. Yet we’re getting cooked on the trail (minus meadows of course).

But Texas is an incredible brand and way more appealing than someone like Texas A&M.
what a dumbass train of thought. Wright and Francis, just based on prior history, one will likely be better than 99% of the players in front of him.

Louisiana and elite WR are like PB and J. They go together. Meadows being the one out of state WR commit is par the course for an elite WR haul for LSU. I don't care what Francis and Wright are ranked. Those dudes are more likely to be legit NFL draft picks than many ranked above them.

Gotta stop pinning how good you think a group is by star ratings.

I don't know much about Hankton.
What do the players say about his ability to develop receivers?
Yall didnt do any research. Just look at the guys drafted in the last several years from UGA, Texas, and LSU.

"Getting cooked on the recruiting trail" as we are ranked #2 by ON3 is so ludacris I don't know what to say. Shows you how "in touch with reality" some posters are

Well you are on a thread on a forum on a site about a niche part of college football.

Seems like odd behavior for some one who’s doesn’t care

Meh. Texas = I ain’t shook regardless of who they sign. That place has a culture issue that starts at the very top and I don’t see it being solved anytime soon.

In all honesty, when has Sark shown you that he can handle all the talent?

Huh?

Texas made the playoff last year and we didn't even with the Heisman winner. That's not consistent with your statement.

Think the comment was more narrowly focused to WR recruiting and not the class as a whole.

And more specifically the big name WRs. Think the guys on board will be fine

The three highest ranked players in the Texas recruiting calls were lost by LSU in head-to-head competition.

5-6 years ago i truly believe LSU lands Dakorian and either French or Lockett because of Underwood. Not anymore though with the pay for play.
Theyll be catching passes from Arch their freshman and possibly sophomore seasons in an offense that put a boat load of WRs in the NFL at Alabama. Money is also a reason but the first reason is a lot of it.
