We have a lot of Wr. Thought this would happen.

I wonder if this means we’re trying to get back in Feaster’s good graces

Hope that means we all in for Boobie to close out the WR room. Hate losing a local kid though

I mean that’s all that this can mean

Would be awesome news if that’s the case. I really think Boobie one of the next great ones.

Also hate to lose a local kid. Think Anderson was a bit underrated in the rankings as well.
But we are obviously heavily in the mix for feaster, and I have heard rumblings of Jase Matthews as well.

I mean Boobie is originally from Louisiana just moved to Texas. So we should still be ok calling him a local kid.

Tristan Keys
Jabari Mack
Kenny Darby
Potentially Boobie Feaster
I wonder if we wanted him to play at DB.

I know this is a sour grapes take but 5’11”

Then it wasn't a commitment. It was a statement.

This just proves the young man is a bit wise. He'd be really wise if he goes somewhere that he knows he's going to get a ton of reps and playing time early.
If he comes to LSU, then he isn't playing anytime soon. He would be hit with the "too skinny" and "needs to add some size and strength" tags. In the event that he were to stay at LSU and try to develop, then he still wouldn't get on the field because by the time he were ready as a redshirt sophomore/junior everyone including LSU staff would be saying he doesn't have any experience and then LSU would go target a portal WR.
These high school prospects need to figure out that going to a program where they can play early is more important than committing to a big name school and then sitting on the bench.
LSU could have two handfuls of redshirt junior WRs who have put in their time with the program and they (LSU) would still sign an experienced WR out of the portal.
Jakai should go where he can play and become the "experienced transfer portal WR" someday.

I’m not sure what this proves or not. Regarding “size”…there’s a former heisman trophy winner out of Amite who is comparable in size. Practicing against elite DBs(“iron sharpens iron”) is a more effective way to prepare for both college opponents and the next level

I expected this. All this talk of taking 5 WRs with 2 being 5 stars and three being in the top 75, sounded way too bloated to me. People saying we are losing a lot of WRs just don't get it. Nobody wants to be in the same class, in the same exact position, as four other guys.
If we can somehow land Feaster and keep the other three, Hankton will have reeled in the best WR class in LSU history.
