We always seem to have that thumper at MLB from what I've been reading and hearing the staff thinks that Braden can be our Thumper. Great addition.

It’s 2024, MLB thumpers aren’t a thing anymore. That is code for I can only play on running downs, which in turn is worthless

This class is going to be extremely well rounded. Braker gives you 3 LBs to replace the 3 LBs we lose this year.
Anding and one more CB gives you 3.
Jimcoily and the possibility of Williams gives you 2 safeties and a DB in Jhase (been hearing CB and safety). That would replace the 2, and possible 3, safeties we lose.
LSU losing a minimum 3 interior DL and i think we get one more interior DL to match the 3 leaving. Two DE will match the 2-3 leaving after this year.
4 IOL gives us four total at OL. We might get another in, or just look at the portal for one. We needed guards bad so that's restocked.
2 RBs keeps the numbers the same as they will be by the end of this season (5 RBs with Holly included in that 5).
A once every 5 years type of QB prospect to replace any QB that leaves
One TE plus the possibility of a 2nd TE to replace Taylor (both are developmental guys)
We have two WRs and hopefully we lock up a 5 star (Ffrench is my pick), and bring Wright in. That will replace the 4-5 we will more than likely lose in the offseason.
Roster management. Kelly and crew have figured it out.

I see a little Jacob Phillips comparison when watching some of his hudl.

Wow...he was only "committed" to USCe less than a month before the flip...

I won't lie. It took me a minute to pick up on the Braker 1 9 reference. Well done.

Happy for the young man, and not upset about the flip, but why so much hype over a 3 star? Is there an untold story here?

Honestly not sure what exact position he will play. He could play WLB in baker’s scheme at 220. He could get up to 230 and play MLB which I’m guessing is the most likely scenario. Or he could even add up to 245-250 and play JACK. Very versatile piece but I assume MLB is the most likely.

The kid is big, athletic, and fast for his size. And he has lots of room to grow, maybe into a rush DE. Nonetheless, he'll go up in the ranking for sure...

he didn’t even go to their recruiting cookout, very easy to negatively recruit against Beamer currently

Really nice breakdown dat. Talk about recruiting to need and grabbing a couple based on best available. Like where this is going

Curious to see how he will be rated when the next ranking updates come out. The film definitely looks better than his current rating.
