Clean, what are the chances (in your opinion) he becomes a part of the LSU class?

I don’t know. Maybe LSU told him early that they’re looking elsewhere.

Things are still really early and we will take at least 4 if not 5 WRs, but this might be one of the worst years for a guy like Bech to get in our class considering the talent in state at WR (Hilton, Thomas, Pazon, Coleman, Nabers, Johnson; 3 of which hold LSU offers already) and we also already have a top 100 overall WR commit from out of state in Deion Smith.

Now as we found out last class, can always have some guys flip on you, but with 36 offers already given out and the in-state talent we are trending with hard to see Bech getting that offer right now. Things can change though from now till December, and to February.

Man I hope we can hang onto Deion Smith. Him and Hilton should be the top priorities I think.

If Jack runs 4.8, then the fastest Neville DB runs a 5.0

remember Mr. Clean his least productive game last year was against some DB's from the Iberia Parish Prison farm team know as Westgate....they had a avg DB who also is a great WR( hint he runs a 4.3 40) that made Bech look average at best....

Jack left the game early in the second half with an injury.

Boutte didn’t have a big night, either, (13 touches, 62 yards).

And Holstein has his worst game of the year (27 of 52)

LINK

ETA - Boutte didn’t guard Bech. It was Cam Spencer and Blayne Delahoussaye

BTW, Spencer is 6-3, 180, and won the 110-meters at the district meet as a freshman.

That was also the first game after the Drano incident. So the #2 wr was gone

And a starting O-lineman, which was STM didn't have much depth at to start with. The coaches took the blame for that game by losing their heads with the referees. The whole team was down after the Drano incident.

Why didn’t Holstein go to Harvard?

After persuading him to take an official visit a week ago, the Bulldogs succeeded in their quest to land the prolific passer when Holstein announced Monday his pledge to Louisiana Tech. "I would not have switched anywhere else," Holstein said. "I'm very familiar with their staff and the campus and town. I'd been wanting to go there for a while."
